I find myself rather disappointed in the lot of you who chose to 

respond to

this on the list. Especially given that recently there was a bit of
discussion about this very thing.

In the first place, the thread merited private replies to begin with. 

There

was no reason to spam the list to correct this guy, which is what the
majority of you were doing. You were adding nothing relevant, aside 

from

correcting him as to the identity of the tower.

Is it just me, or is that ALL that you do?  I've been on here for three 
weeks, and all I've seen you do is yell at people every time they miss a 
period.  Is this some lame attempt at making yourself some sort of god?  
Who the hell do you think you are?  Ever since I got on this list, all 
I've seen is people bitching back and forth.  I believe I shall partake 
of some of that.  It was not my intention to write any fanfiction; I 
just joined for the extra reading material.  However, the reading 
material usually consists of:

Some Poor Soul:  Here's my story!

Everyone Else:  This is stupid, THIS is wrong, and you missed a blinkin' 
period.  You suck and I think everyone else on the list will probably 
back me up in saying so.

Hey, ban me if you must, but whoever is supposed to be backing up the 
rules here, I believe MANY people have broken the spam ones quite a few 
times.  Apparently this  does not apply if you tack on an "I'm sorry for 
the spam" at the end.
