Hey there folks, how ya all doing? Oh that's good...or bad, I guess it all
depends on how your doing. Anyhoo, I'm posting a fic...well part of a fic.
I think it could be classified as a spoof but I'm not sure. At the moment
it's
not spoof like, and in the future I'm planning on adding original ideas. But
I
would be grateful for some C&C on what I have right now. Heck it doesn't
even
have to be private you can post it right to the FFML for all I care.
Thanks...

AKANE THE VAMPIRE SLAYER
A Ranma 1/2 Fanfic by Tracy Garnett AKA Crikit
"Okay now you've done it. Look at what you made me do, would you just look!"

Akane held her hand up to display what she was talking about to her foe.

"You made me break a nail! You know what this means don't you?"

A shake of the head was the only reply she received.

"You don't? Well, let me explain. It means that you're about to hmmm
How can I put this in the nicest of terms? Oh, I know I can't! What it means
is that you're about to become a pile of dust blowing in the wind."

With one fluid motion Akane whipped a stake from her coat sleeve, and drove
it in to the heart of the vampire before her. As the vamp turned into a pile
of dust she turned her gaze to her friends who were slowly pulling
themselves off the ground.

"Are you guys okay?"

"Fear not oh beauteous one, for I Tatewaki Kuno am free from harm."

"How about you?"

"Don't worry hon. I'm safe."

"Good, we're just lucky that Dr. Tofu isn't here with us. So I'm thinking we
should all head home and meet up tomorrow at the clinic, what do you guys
think?"

"Good idea, Akane I still have to set the restaurant up for tomorrow, I'll
see you guys later."

"Bye Ukyo."

"Alas I to must depart, but will my fair love giveth me the pleasure of
accompanying her to her dwelling?"

"No Kuno, I think you better go home and let me walk home on my own. I'll
see you tomorrow."

"So be it."

With the exchange done Akane, Kuno, and Ukyo departed and went on their own
separate ways.

As Akane walked the darkened streets towards the dojo, her mind went over
the events of the last few months.

Back then she was a fairly normal teenage girl, well about as normal as one
could be coming from her family.

FLASHBACK
Akane stopped outside the clinic door, taking deep breaths she tried to slow
her racing heart. <Okay, calm down. You do have a reason for being here
after all. All you have to is say that you want Dr. Tofu to look at your
wrist.> Having calmed down Akane calmly smoothed out her school uniform
opened the door to the clinic and stepped in. "Hello? Dr. Tofu are you
here?"

When Akane received no reply she started to wander around the clinic,
looking at the various artifacts that Dr. Tofu had accumulated in his
travels. Some of the objects she found rather interesting, while others gave
her the chills, but what really started to scared Akane was the fact that
she knew what some of the objects were, and what they were used for. <Well
it looks like he's not here? Still, I think it would be best if I waited a
few more minutes, true your wrist doesn't hurt nowbut you never know it
could still be seirously injured.>

Picking up a book from the table Akane walked over to the waiting area and
took a seat. Opening the book she was immediately captured by the words that
stared back at her.

The Watcher Journal of Henry Random
July 5, 1799.

The slayer has yet to return, and alas I fear the worst has befallen her.
Justine had not yet recovered from her fever, and was in no shape to face
the Master on her own. Yet she persuaded me to allow her, and nowwait there
comes a knock on the door, perhaps it is she just now returning It is as I
had feared, the girl is dead. I just now received the word of her passing.
The Master was to strong for her in her weakened condition. Knowing the girl
as I do, I am comforted by the fact that she batteled until the last of her
breath left her.
