Yes I know what all of you are thinking. This author's nuts to post WoD
fics on the FFML. Actually the first one is just to establish a history for
the two main characters. The following chapters are almost all cross-overs
with the animeverse. I actually wanted to write a fic with the angstful WoD
characters having to interact with the often wacky animeverse. What do you
think about this crazy idea? The next chapter sees them transported from
the WoD to the Tenchi Muyo reality. The Teaser's below. How eager do you
think Washuu is to experiment on a real live werewolf?

The Sacrifice Chapter Two-Teaser

Prometheus and Crystal's conversation was rudely interrupted when a figure
materialized from the shadows. Swathed all in black, the moorish face on
the black clad figure left little doubt on Prometheus' mind on the origin
of the figure, Assamite Attritribu; One that was probably hired to do away
with him. Even in his weakened state, Prometheus was not a being to be
trifled lightly, especially when he was in a camp of friendly Garou.

His intuition was screaming a warning at him that the assassin would not
have come if he had no tricks up his sleeves. His suspicions were verified
when the Assamite pulled out a talisman and pointed it at him. Cursing the
fact that his null-magic abilities were unavailable to him, Prometheus
tried to shield Crystal with his own body, praying that her healing factor
would be able to save her from the magical attack from the talisman.

Prometheus felt the slumbering magicks in the talisman reach out and engulf
both him and the werewolf in his arms. For an instant, he felt as if the
magicks were trying to tear him apart into his component atoms. A great
sense of disorientation filled him as gravity seemed to lose its hold on
him. Prometheus was spiraling into an endless abyss as the sheer agony
claimed his consciousness.

Crystal awakened to find herself in a picturesque setting, numerous steps
lead up a path cut into a hill. There was a signboard next to the stone
staircase but she could not make out the inscriptions. She inspected
Prometheus' stricken form and was alarmed to find that he was not
breathing. Performing CPR several times finally resulted in him coughing up
blood but he started to breathe once more. Prometheus' eyelids fluttered
open and he inspected their surroundings. Peering at the signboard, he
seemed to stiffen in shock for a moment before recovering his equilibrium.

Concerned, Crystal asked, "What's wrong?"

Shaken, Prometheus replied in a hollow voice, "The sign is written in
Japanese. This indicates that this is the Masaki shrine."

Raising a wry eyebrow, Prometheus continued, "Somehow Crystal, I don't
think that we are in Kansas anymore."
