After a little searching, I found that Michael (or Mr. McAvoy, as you
contemptuously refer to him) isn't really a complete unknown.  Here's his

now.

I apologize, then, for referring to Mr. McAvoy as a complete unknown. He is
an unknown to me, and this is what I should have said in my post.

My comments, however, still stand. And for the record, since I have been
attacked *twice* for this, I did not, once, disagree with ANYTHING in the
essay in and of itself. I even stated that I agree with the majority of the
points made.

I was attempting to point out a bit of irony in Mr. McAvoy's recommendation
of Neon Exodus Evangelion.

Apparently, there are fewer people here who appreciate irony than there are
who jump at the chance to attack someone without bothering to fully
comprehend the post and its intent.

This, I find disheartening.
