This is the result of too much work, too much TV, and too many weird ideas
that won't go away...
The Power-Chan Girls
by Tempus Skylorn
A Ranma 1/2 / Power Puff Girls Fusion
Ranma 1/2 is owned by the great Rumiko Takahashi.
Power Puff Girls is owned by Hanna Barberra.

Opening and Author's Notes:
****************************************************************************
Opening: (It's very similar to the Powerpuff Girls opening)
SUGAR....SPICE....AND EVERYTHING NICE...
(Various scenes of sugar, spices, stuff animals, rainbows, etc.
being poured into a pot)
BUT PROFESSOR SOUN UTONINUM ADDED SOMETHING ELSE TO THE MIX...
...JUSENKYO X.
We see Soun looking in horror, then having a nervous breakdown as a bottle of
Jusenkyo X falls into the pot of sugar and spices. Nabiki is looking over
his shoulder, rolling her eyes. Following that, we hear a large expolsion.
When the smoke clears, little girl versions of Shampoo, Ukyo, and Akane are
levitating above the spot where the pot was.
THUS THE POWER-CHAN WERE BORN.
UCCHAN...(da da da da da da)
Ukyo is shown flying into place, smiling a little smile.
SHAN-CHAN...(di di di di di di)
Shan-chan flys up under Ukyo, smiling a wider, happier smile.
and AKANE-CHAN...(bum bum bum bum bum bum)
Akane-chan flys under Shan-chan, looking like she wants to kill something.
Various villains at this point, pop up to face our heroes, among them are
little kid versions of the Kunos, Mousse, Him, Willie Lumpin, and Mojo Dojo
from the Powerpuff Girls Show. There also is a giant robot with four arms.
Ucchan takes out the little Tatewaki Kuno with a minutare version of her
spatula. Shampoo shoots Mojo Dojo with her eyebeams. Akane pounds on
Willie Lumpin with her large mallet, repeatedly. In fact, all the foes,
with the exception of the giant robot.
Meanwhile, in a outdoor cafe, Genma (in panda form), Kasumi, Ranma (as a 6
year old boy), and Ryoga (as a 6 year old boy). Genma sees the battle and
pours cold water on Ranma, causing him to transform into his girl half.
Ranma glares at Genma while Genma holds a sign that says "Go Help Them! Boy!"
Ranma takes the sign and hits Genma on the head with it, then flies off
to help the girls. Kasumi is holding on to Ryoga with one hand, trying to
keep him
from running off. She is also watching Ranma, smiling and completely oblivious
to the fact that Genma has just stolen Ranma's food.
As the battle with the giant robot continues, Ucchan and Akane-chan are caught
in the robot's arms trying to break free. Shampoo is trying to dodge the
other
two arms, while shooting it with her eye beams. Ranma flies up, behind the
robot and prepares a Moko Takabisha energy blast. When the ball of energy
bigger than him, he lets it loose and severs the robot in half.
As the the three other Power-chan girls look up, they see Ranma-chan staring
right back at them. He gives them a smirk.
Theme music ends, and the sky blue screen with the Power-Chan Girls logo is
shown.

Okay, so I took a few liberites with both series. It's just that the Ranma
cast is larger than the Power Puff girls cast and I wanted to include as
many as I could. ANyway, here's my casting (in order of appearance):
Soun Tendo- Plays the Role of Professor Utoninum. Basically, a really
smart guy who's now prone to nervous breakdowns.
Nabiki- The Professor's assistant. There's no role to match in PPG.
She's pretty much the same Nabiki we all know. She actually keep the fiances
in shape, here though. If only to make sure her gravy train stays on track.
Shampoo- Plays the role of Bubbles (now called Shan-chan in this series).
In PPG, Bubbles is supposed to be the cute one, and the one most like a
little kid. She can be naive at times, and talks more like a baby than the
others. In Shan-Chan's case, sometimes it's an act to make her opponent
underestimate her. Besides the normal PPG powers (flight, super strength,
eye beam blasts), she will also have the ability to turn into a cat. THIS
cat can use the Neko-Ken like Ranma.
Ukyo- Plays the role of Blossom (she'll be called Ucchan in this series).
In PPG, Blossom is the leader of the group, but can be a sanctimonius tattle
tale who tries to butter up the professor. You can expect the same of Ucchan,
with one more flaw, Ucchan frequently uses the word "Jackass." Both of them
have the hairbow from hell. Ucchan has all of Blossom's powers, including
the heat and cold attacks Blossom used on one episode. Like Ukyo in Ranma,
Ucchan swings a mean spatula and can make a kick butt okonomiyaki.
Akane- Plays the role of Buttercup (now called Akane-chan). In PPG, Buttercup
is the "rebel" of the group with a perpetual chip on her shoulder. She is the
quickest to anger and has short hair. Sound like anyone you know in the Ranma
universe? ^_^ Look for her to be sticking it to Ucchan whenever possible.
Besides the normal PPG powers, Akane-chan is stronger and tougher than Shan
and
Ucchan. She also is more immune to charm, sleep, and other mental attacks.
Like Akane in the Ranma 1/2 universe, Akane-chan is a domestic diaster waiting
to happen. She also favors the mallet as her weapon of choice. At least,
Akane-chan can swim...
The Kunos and Mousse are the same characters you know and love, only younger
and smaller. The PPG vilians are also the same.
Genma- Genma is Mr. Panda in this series. He will never change into a human.
For the most part, he's the same Genma from Ranma 1/2. There may be minor
alterations but I don't know just what those alterations are.
Kasumi- In this fic, Kasumi is Mr.Panda's trainer. The big problem with this
is the Panda is craftier than sweet Kasumi. The major change here is that
she's no longer related to Nabiki and Akane. She's now the big sister of
Ranma and Ryoga. Eventually she'll become the professor's housekeeper.
Ranma- Ranma is essentially the same as when he was 6. Although he was not
one of the original Power-Chan Girls, he gained the same abilites as them
when he drank a bottle of Jusenkyo X. The problem with this is that it also
gave him a Jusenkyo curse (Ranma-chan naturally). In addition, he is able to
do any martial arts moves in the Ranma 1/2 series, minus the Neko-ken.
Thanks to Kasumi, Ranma doesn't have a fear of cats, except when Shan-Chan
is angry...
Ryoga- Ryoga fares better in this series than in Ranma 1/2. He still suffers
from the Lost Boy Curse, but this 6 year old boy won't turn into P-chan or
anything else since he won't touch Jusenkyo X. He still has some super
strength, but it's not on the level of the Power-Chan girls. I feel like
I should be giving him something, but not sure what yet.
***********************************************************************
Is this something that I should continue or just drop it and treat this as
a spamfic. I've heard from people in both camps. I would like some
commentary on this. I realize that this is NOT an epic work so I have
no real problems with "This sucks." Although any flaming you may wish to
give me should be done privately. Tybalt's touchy about public flames. ^_^
Perhaps I need a new hobby. Oh Well.
Tempus.
