Hi all, ^_^

This is my brand new fic, so I'd really appreciate any and all C&C to
help me get this polished. Show no mercy -- I can take it. :)

Get this polished? *snort* It's already quite a gem. ^_^

^_^ Thanks...

I particularly enjoyed it since I had just recently been rereading
all my Viz Inu-Yasha issues. Happy coincidences! I'm just surprised
that so few Inu-Yasha fanfics get posted to this ML. Hmmmm....

I know. What gives? I personally would love to see more Inuyasha fics
on the ML. I suspect one of the reasons may be that it hasn't yet been
animated, and that many people aren't aware of how easy it is to get
ahold of the manga and the translations.

I'm also wondering if you're basing this solely on the Viz
releases or on the Japanese manga, because if I recall correctly, (despite
what Viz says) the Japanese manga is considerably ahead of the American
release. And in the Japanese manga, I think the current storyline has
a lot to do with Inu-Yasha's and Kikyo's past.

I've been keeping up regularly with the Japanese release of Inuyasha. I
have the first 9 vols. of manga, and I visit Chris Rijk's weekly
Inuyasha translations on a weekly basis. In writing and plotting
"Half-Breed" and "Vigil," I've scoured the manga carefully, because I
would like my fanfic continuity to mesh with Takahashi's as seamlessly
as possible. (Heh. I would also like a trip to Europe, but I don't see
that happening any time soon. So I'm well aware that not knowing what
Takahashi has in mind for future Inuyasha stories makes my desire
improbable at the very least.)  ^_^;

I haven't gotten around to reading the translations, though....

You're missing out. Chris has got himself a great page that's been a
tremendous service to all Inuyasha fans.

The translations for Chapters 1-110 (yes, 110!) of Inu-Yasha are
available at:

Anyway, great work, Krista. I hope to see more of your Inu-Yasha
stories... just as long as you don't neglect HOI! ^_-

Neglect HoI? Of course not. :)

Krista
