Ranma had dragged Akane halfway out of the room when she freed her
hand and walked back to her mother-in-law.

"You don't seem to think there would be anything wrong with my husband
having a mistress, do you? Does that mean you wouldn't mind if your
husband had one?"

Nodaka seems to make that suggestion in several fanfics.  I've seen at 
least one where Akane actually goes along with the idea.  This is the 
first one I've seen where she succeeds in shooting it down so 
thouroughly.  Good work!
