Woohoo! Another useful C&C from Mr. Seifert.
I'd just like to clear something up:

    Ranma muttered to herself, "So I'm LUCKY to turn into a girl, am I?
Ryoga, you stupid jerk..."
    Akane blinked. What did she mean by that?
{Hah! She said SHE!  Akane thinks Ranma's a girl!}

...and...

    Akane refrained from commenting that she had known the cursed (and
adult) Ranma for longer, and that they saw each other more regularly.
He did live in the same house with her, after all. She should be the
   ^^ Whoops!  Should be 'she'

one to say whether she acted like a man or not!
{AAA!  She did it again!}

Now, now. As I said before (back with the horrible gender pronoun problem
in Part 3) there's no omniscient narrator in this story; it's told from the
varying points of view of the characters.

As such, the characters *think* using the characters' physical gender.
They will use the character's birth gender in *speech*.

Just wanted to clear that up. Akane doesn't think that Ranma's a girl.
Geez, how many times did she say she 'knew he was a guy' in this part? :)

[...]

not let such a thing happen. For above all else, Takewaki Kuno was a man.
    Although he no doubt would be the very image of feminine beauty...
{glurk!}

Picture, if you will, an alternate world where Principal Kuno only had
one child. Where he was obsessed with China instead of Hawaii. Imagine
him bringing his son to a little-known valley in the Bayankala mountain
range...

After a very tragic accident, Kuno sees her new reflection in the cursed
waters and Jusenkyo, and her already-fragile psyche snaps.

"OH HO HO HO HO HO!!!" ^o^

Later,

Doug
