As anyone knows who was witness to that event, 

	<waves> I attest to it, having been involved in the aftermath.
Actually, I posted a letter not unlike Razorclaw's ... what a 

difference

three years and a few nervous collapses make.

  Do not presume to equate your past self with me. I find your sense of 
humor severely lacking in good taste. 
  Yes, perhaps over time, I will become numb to it all, but that day is 
certainly not today. 

Now go out there and have fun today :)

  Some people do not appreciate humor at their own expense. 

  Date is no excuse to unleash harmful pranks. Date is no excuse to lie 
through your teeth, only to make it 'all better' with the statement 
"April Fools!" Because, those who do not know you will take this as an 
example of your person, and react accordingly. 
  Perhaps I take several of the more serious responses of these pranks 
too seriously. You will find that, for every one that understands, there 
will be three more that do not. However, though April first may be April 
Fools Day, and it is almost expected that pranks such as these should 
happen, unkind words will not fail to pass. 
  Fine, so I'm a lamer. Fine, so I'm a party pooper. Fine, so I'm a 
troll-- I've been called all that and more, because SOME of you refuse 
to put your personal feelings behind you (goes double for Cherry Tiger). 
I don't care what any of you think of me, for that matter-- today is 
another day, the same as yesterday, and the day before that-- business 
as usual. 

  This has been yet another exercise in interpretation. If I had a 
dollar for every post failing to understand the basic underlying points 
of my rants, I'd be stinking rich.
