Thanks for the comments.  The changes will be made, as per 
recommendation, and after checking out the places in the fic.  ^_^

'Aiyah' is not necessarily just a chinese exclamation.  I've heard a few 
Japanese people say something like it before.  I think it's just the 
spelling perhaps.  Who knows?  After all, Japanese is really 75% 
Chinese.  o.o;

'Doushitan deshou' => 'What's the matter?' or 'What's wrong?'  It's 
fairly informal, and given the person Jubei is talking to, I thought the 
level of impoliteness was justified.
