Okay, Okay! sheesh. I haven't actually seen much Tenchi so my
interpretations obviously suffer in light of my inexperience.

Still, I think that it was stated by the author himself that the fic
was about Tenchi's training scene, not the events that led to it...
Besides, I got the impression that he was training to work off
tension...
