I don't see Top Ten Lists anywhere in here; if they are banned, it needs
to be added to the FAQ, but I think Lurker is just wrong.  Given Lurker is
one of the FAQ maintainers, I find that surprising, but...it ain't in
there.

Gary doesn't seem to remember it either. I do, though. Then again, it has
been a VERY long time....it was back when Megane's repost of the Top Ten
Rejected lists caused a major spamflow of various top ten lists and
continuations.

And, if we're gonna get anal about it, it would fall under 'Continuation of
a banned thread', which IS in there, but I digress...

In any event, one thing that is to be included in the next revision of the
FAQ is that private messages should not be replied to publically.

I find Valandar's public reply to my private message to be quite rude.


Folks, there is almost NEVER ANY REASON to reply PUBLICALLY to a PRIVATE
MESSAGE! The message you're replying to was, in all likelihood, sent
privately FOR A REASON!
