Actually this could all be explained very simply.
    Ranma is a Masochist and that is why he wanted to marry
Akane, She hits him the most.
    Kodachi only messes with his mind and paralyzes or sleep
gasses him, so he doesn't experience any pain. Therefore he
doesn't love her.
    Ukyou occasionally hits him, and  therefore is a friend.
Also she is a crossdresser other wise she would probably be
a closer friend. Ranma is very sensitive to comments about
Homosexuality, curiously she is not sensitive about charges
of Lesbianism.
    Shampoo keeps glomping him but only rarely hits him, she
does however keep trying drugs on him, which Ranma is
apparently strongly against.
