OTOH, I'm sad to hear you gave-up on "Okaeri, Kaori-chan". I was awaiting
rather eargely for the next chapter. That scene in the last piece I read,
the party, left me really wondering at what happened to the girl (nothing
nice, I'm sure).

I wrote up through Episode 04 privately, and tried a re-write of what I
had written, again privately.  Unfortunately, I ran into a massive
writer's block, and couldn't get out until about a month ago.

Won't you consider resurrecting it at a later time? Please?

I'll certainly give Okaeri another try as soon as I can write with the
skill that the rather delicate subject matter requires.  The characters
are too engrained in me now to let them go. ^_^;
