Just a note - please don't bother responding to my previous letter
(or any other letter of mine) if you don't have anything useful to

much point in being rude to someone that you've never met, but I
guess there is at least one real jerk on this list who thinks that
his popularity or noteriety gives him some kind of perogative. Or
maybe he's just a spiteful person by nature. Either way, it's his
problem and not mine.

Thank you to those who DID respond to my query seriously!! I really
appreciate your help! ^_^

On a lighter, fanfic-related note, I decided to jot down my YYH/FY
idea (very rough, mind you). However, I really don't think I can
write the entire story. I just don't think I know enough to
maintain accurate characterizations thoughout the story. At least
not yet - maybe in a few months though. Again, please tell me if
it's already been written. If so, I'd really like to read it.
This story would contain significant spoilers for Fushigi Yuugi,
so if you aren't familiar with the end of the tv anime series or
with the end of vol 13 (I think this is equivalent) of the manga
and you don't want to be spoiled, please move on to the next
fanfic. ^_^ Also, I'm not that knowledgable about Yuu Yuu
Hakusho. In fact, I'm only just watching the beginning of
television series (I've seen the middle and end before, but not the
beginning. Strange, huh?), and although I own most of the manga, I
haven't gotton around to reading it yet (it's that whole lack of
spare time thing again ^_^). But I intend to review it as soon as
my sister returns it to me.

Anyway, enough blather. Here's the idea. It's not written in
story-format because I'm really just in the outline stage. Please
feel free to send any useful and polite comments (even negative
criticism can be given tactfully and politely).

Setting is near the end of the main story of Fushigi Yuugi.
Tamahome is dead/defeated by Nakago. Yui is being consumed by
Seiryuu. Kensuke has just tried to call Chichiri and Tasuki who
are still in the book to come to the real world to save Miaka.
Miaka is trying to defend herself from Nakago. But, instead of
Chichiri and Tasuki showing up at the last second to protect her,
Yuusuke and Kuwabara show up instead. Apparently, when the
fighting started breaking out in the real world it alerted Koenma
who immediately sent Botan to dispatch the troops. This would be
closer to the beginning of the YYH series (but after the whole
demon-insect infestation story - hopefully someone can see where
I'm going with this now :-), so Nakago would actually have a chance
against them. But Miaka (ever the klutz), can't stay out of the
way, and so ends up Nakago's hostage and in even more trouble than
she was before. Now Chichiri and Tasuki finally show up (a little
late) but there's not much they can do (if you recall, their powers
were sealed by Seiryuu). Hmmph. For some reason I currently have
a mental block as to what exactly happened next in FY. I'll need
to look it up when I get home. Anyway, I still have to think it
through exactly, but at some point here a wish will be made, a
giant blue dragon will appear in the sky, 4 ghosts will show up
(ghosts that aren't supposed to even exist - talk about some
screwed up paperwork for Koenma to deal with!), Tamahome reappears,
and Miaka will try to summon Suzaku. And of course Hiei and Kurama
will show up. And the four guys will wonder how the hell (pun
intended) Seiryuu and Suzaku managed to survive and make it to the
human world! It turns out that the book, the Universe of the Four
Gods, is a weak link to the demon world. But it's a link that the
4 "gods", Genbu, Byakko, Seiryuu, and Suzaku, have been trying to
exploit for hundreds of years. Unfortunately, because it's such a
weak link it requires a person from the human world with just the
right spiritual energy - a miko - for them to channel through.
This is the first time two of them have been truly sucessful in
trying to break their way into the human world. And of course, we
find out that they weren't really using their full power the first
time they fought Yuusuke et al, because part of their power was
being used to help maintain an entire alternate reality inside the
book, which is also where they went when they were thought to have
died. What's interesting, at least to Koemna, is that somehow the
denizens of this alternate reality aquired human souls, souls that
were probably misfiled and lost in the paperwork. Kinda suggests
an inside job, doesn't it? ^_^ Anyway, this all results in a Big
Fight, YYH-style, with several apparent-wins and near-losses as our
guys duke it out with the demon-gods and Nakago for the sake of the
earth. I haven't decided yet who will win and who will die. Plus
there's the bonus problem of Yui who's been consumed by Seiryuu and
needs to be saved. Don't think that Suzaku is going to be granting
wishes just the way Miaka wants him to, either. So what do you
think? Should I try to write it, or should I stick to LoGH
spamfics and work on my other stories instead? Or has a story
similar to this already been written? Or would someone else like
to tackle it? Please let me know.

Thanks a lot!!

Jennifer

Sorry, caught two major errors right after I sent the previous message.
It should be Tasuki and 4 ghosts. Just wanted to correct myself before
the hordes of FY fans jump on me about my dumb errors. ^_-
