	One would need to watch carefully, esp. scenes with Nene, the junk food
queen.  They probably do at show them in passing, because instant ramen is
a Japanese cultural stereotype often shown in anime.

You bet, they're everywhere

	Genom has divisions in almost every industry, with the possible exception
of food production/ distribution.  It is certain that they are into
Military technology, construction, commercial / consumer electronics and
cyber engineering.

3. Does GENOM use BUMA for light maintenance work (sanitation

engineering, etc.) or do they hire human labour?

Wouldn't be surprising if they do(boomers)

	MOST Boomers are utility models.  There are Boomers that serve as
waiters/waitresses with built in coffee makers, maintenance drones,
construction workers, butlers, etc.  Think of any job that involves
drudgery, and there has been a Boomer made to handle it.  Boomer bodyguards
and Military Boomers are a relatively small market; Genom's illegal testing
with Military Boomers in more of an R&D scheme, and generates business for
the Genom Construction division.

4. Is the Imperial Household still functioning in this universe?

	I don't think it was ever mentioned.  One would think so, since their
function is tightly bound into Japanese religious observances.
