This is the first time I have ever seen a TV New Show air a news story 
about fan-fiction

Last night at 5:00 AM Eastern a news show called TV.Com aired a news 
story about fan-fiction. The story only talked fan-fiction that was 
based on US TV shows and movies. It showed things like the Aliens/Star 
Trek: Deep Space Nine crossover fan-fiction website and a web-based 
show called Troops. Troops is a COPS/Star Wars fusion that is about 
Stormtroopers.

But the good news is that the news story reflected positively on fan-
fiction and not negatively.
