There's a gesture used extensively in anime.  A character's
thumb, forefinger, and pinky stick out, while the middle and
ring fingers are pulled in.

I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.  It shows up a
lot in manga and anime, but it's a royal pain in the butt to
describe with words.

So I have a little challenge for you boys and girls (and boy-
girls):  coin a short term that identifies this gesture, while
being easily recognizable.

I'm looking for something like "hammerspace," "bigsweat," and
"facefault." These are all easily identified, and have been
added to fanfic writers' vocabularies.  Let's see if we can't
find a term for the hand gesture.

Please, make sure it is short, simple, and recognizable (or at
least suggestive -- facefault is an excelent example).  Things
like "Takahashi pose" and "warding gesture" aren't going to be
recognized by any readers new to anime fanfiction.
