currently on ftp.cs.ubc.ca - I offer NO Apologies.

the sake of silliness.

I'm a weird guy. Anything that makes me go "..." gets this helpful

Ukyou runs into Ranma and Ryouga at the boy's school
they attended at 13, and the three of them have a
chance to form a friendship. But nasty rumours, Genma's
meddling, and misunderstandings insure that they part ways,
and by the time Ranma gets to the Tendou Dojo, things are
Dark-ish. I'd like to see more, but it's been dead for quite
awhile. In a Takahashi-ish style, but a little more mature.

"11:11, or Chronophobia" down in disgust.
"Shit. I didn't need that little bit of information. Childhood
friendship be damned, Kuonji must die now."
He stormed out of the room, murder in his eyes.
COLOGNE'S HELPFUL HINTS #1:
Don't ever name yourself after an anime/manga character. It
should be noted that anime/manga characters often have a hard
time separating reality from fantasy where fanfiction is concerned.
Innocent people and characters can often get hurt because of things
like this.

This story is beautifully written. The pace is rather slow,
but even though I like a somewhat faster paced Fic, I found
it relaxing rather than drawn-out. In the first few chapters
I was really rooting for Ranma & Akane to get together, even
though I'm not a huge Ranma/Akane together fan. They end up
going to college, getting married, etc. - A lot of work is
done on realistically trying to resolve the relationships
with Shampoo and Ukyou. There is a new character introduced,
but he's not the real focus of the story. I would give it
five &'s, but it is unfinished. (Although it does appear to be
still in progress, so there is hope)

Ugh. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and Ranma. Ick.
Noakes does warn us that this _is_ his first Fic, so I
guess I got what I deserved. It was a struggle to finish,
one I almost lost. The one redeeming feature was Mousse in
a DarkWing Duck outfit.
Note: Interestingly enough, this fic does _not_ appear on
Noake's web page. The Noakes Jihad (There is no Jihad) is
trying to cover up its inglorious history.
