Well, I�m not going to bog you down with a lot of author�s
notes, but I thought I would say, I told you that this chapter
will answer any questions, you have.  I hope it does.  Bye�.


Chapter 4




�Okay, tell me if this hurts?�

�OUCH!!!  HECK YEAH THAT HURT!�

Dr. Tofu let go of Ranma�s arm and looked over his shoulder.
He examined it closely and then took action.  Ranma gripped
onto a nearby counter with his other hand.  He then looked
toward the doctor and nodded to show that he was ready.  Dr.
Tofu took a hold of Ranma�s arm again, and pulled it straight
down.  The bones popped back into place, but not without
leaving Ranma with an agonizing pain.

�There you go�  Your shoulder is back it place now, but I
want you to keep from doing anything strenuous with it.�

�Could you give me something for the pain?�

�I can give you an inflammatory to reduce swelling, but I
don�t have any special medicine for pain here.  I do have some
Aspirin, but that is all.�

Cologne hopped over to Ranma and began to speak.

�We are wasting time.  We must find Shampoo now.�

�I won�t be much good if I can�t use both of my arms.�

Cologne poked her staff into Ranma�s clavicle.  This shocked
him, as a wave of pain flushed over his body.

�What the heck did you do that for!?  Hey, wait a sec�  My
arm�  It doesn�t hurt anymore.�

�I have turned the pain receptors in you shoulder off.  Now we
need to go.�

�Before we go, tell me what you know about this Ko di Shina.
I want to know why he is after Shampoo.�

�He is something that should never have been, leave it at that.
Now we must go before his trail runs cold.�

Shampoo was in a dream state.  She saw images that seemed
so distant, but they were at the same time so familiar.  She saw
herself and a small boy playing together.  The two of them
looked so happy.  But the scene changed and saw the child
crying, and then Cologne took the child and the two of them
faded away.

Shampoo began to wake up when she felt a moisture upon her
head.  She opened her eyes and saw Ko di shina sprinkling
water on her face.  After a few seconds, she realized where she
was and what had happened to her.  Shampoo tried to get up,
but she found that her arms and legs were bound.

�You might as well stop doing that, before you end up hurting
yourself.�

�You release me now!�

�Why would I do that?  I�d be out of my mind to give you a
chance to escape.  Especially after all I had to go through to
get you.�

Ko di shina stood up and walked over to a sack that lay under
a nearby tree.  He looked back toward Shampoo and began to
speak.

�Tell me the truth.  You don�t remember me at all?  You know you meant 
everything to me, and I once thought I meant the
same to you.�

�Shampoo not know you.  What you have planned for me?�

Ko di shina opened the bag and then stood back up as he
began to disrobe.  Shampoo looked in horror as fear to his
actions ran through her head.

�Shampoo not that kind of girl!  I no do that with you!�

�What?!  You numbskull I don�t want to do anything to you.
I�m just putting some medication on.�

He had completely removed the top portion of his gi.
Shampoo looked as his upper torso and saw many bruises.
His skin had many discolorations from attacks that he had
absorbed.  He opened a bottle of cream and rubbed it on them.
After a few seconds the bruises began to fade away.  Shampoo
noticed that; the hand that he was using to apply the cream had
a long scare on it, but it had not disappeared like the other
bruises did.

�Who are you?�

�There was once a time you would not have needed to ask me
that.  I promised I would bring you to someone.�

Ko di Shina put the bottle back in his bag and looked for
another one.  He picked up another bottle and examined how
much he had left of its contents.

�We better get back soon, I�m running low on supplies.  I only
have enough for maybe one more fight.�

Shampoo wondered what he was putting on, and who was he
taking her to.  She tried to loosen her bounds some more while
her capture continued to see to his wounds.  She couldn�t
break free.  Ko di Shina returned the bottle to it�s bag and
looked back over to Shampoo.  He noticed her fidgeting with
the ropes that held her.  She hadn�t looked back at him.  There
was a look of pain on her face as she caused a rope burn with
her movements.  Ko di Shina quickly ran over to her and knelt
down.  Shampoo looked in amazement as he began to remove
the ropes from her legs and then hands.

�What you doing?�

�I�m sorry�  I didn�t know the ropes were hurting you.
Please forgive me.�

When he removed the bind from her hands, she grabbed a hold
of his hand and slapped him with her other hand.  He paused
and slowly turned his head back toward her.

�I guess  I deserve that.  I sometimes forget that one of  the
medicines I take for pain blocking and strength enhancement
causes aggressive mood swings.  I must have seemed like a
serious jerk earlier.�

�Jerk no describe it.�

�I never meant to hurt you.  If I did, please take my apology
now.  But I still have to take you with me.�

�Shampoo no go with you.�

�Hmm�  Shampoo, how much of your childhood do you
remember.�

�Huh.  You no make any sense?�

�I mean, what can you tell me about yourself.  You say you
can�t remember me, so what else have you forgot.  Where
were you born?  What are your father and mother�s names?
What was your favorite bed time story?�

�I�  I� I no have to listen to you.�

�If you really don�t remember me, or just don�t want to, I will
not force it on you.  However, aren�t you curious to who I�m
taking you to.  I promised him that I would bring you to him.  Please don�t 
make me have to force you to go.  All you have to do is see him and then you 
can go on with your life, without
me ever re-entering it.  I swear it.  Please��

�If I go you, you never comeback?�

�I swear on my father�s life.�

Shampoo let go of Ko di Shina and stood up.  He stood up
alongside her and walked over to his bag.  He picked it up and
then began to lead the way.

Akane and Ryuoga ran side by side as they followed behind
Ranma and Cologne.  She looked over to him and began to
talk in a quiet tone.

�Hey, Ryuoga, don�t you think it�s strange?�

�What do you mean?�

�This guy, why is he after Shampoo?  We�ve been traveling
for two days now, and we still haven�t found him yet.  But
Cologne seems to know where to find him.  It�s not like she�s
tracking him, but rather trying to catch him before the he gets
to where he�s headed.�

�I don�t know what to think.�

�Well, what about that guy.  He didn�t seem to be as good as
he was.  He seemed a little on the young side when he was
talking to us.  He also didn�t try anything with us, but he went
all out on Ranma.�

�What are you getting at?�

�I just find this situation very unusual.  There is a guy that is
after Shampoo even more than Mousse is.  It seems like he has
some kinda past with her and Colonge.  And Cologne seems to
not like him at all.�

�Well have to wait and see what that is all about.�

�But what about his name.  It almost sounds like�.  Nah, I�m
putting to much into this.  We have to find Shampoo, that�s
the only thing that�s important.�

Shampoo and Ko di Shina traveled across the South China
Sea, and landed on the Island of Hainan.  Shortly after their
arrival, they came upon a small city along the coastline.  At
it�s very end, there was a large house.  The two of them
walked to it and entered.   On the inside, it appeared to look
like a small dojo.  But it wasn�t like any that Shampoo had
ever seen before.  There where no mats.  The floor was
covered in sand.  In the back of the room were several
instruments.  She looked at them and then back to Ko di
Shina.  He had begun to walk inside and toward the doors to
the next room.  She quickly jogged up behind him.  They
walked through them.  When they step through they where
met by a young lady that seemed to be very happy that Ko di
Shina  had returned.

�KO DI!!!  You�re back!�

�Yes I�m back.�

�Is that her?�

�Yes, this is Shampoo.�

�Master will be so happy.�

The girl walked up to Shampoo and bowed.  She then stepped
over and hugged Ko di Shina.  He took a hold of her too and
then gave out a little hint of pain as she clutched at him.

�Oh, you�re hurt.  Please tell me you haven�t been over using
the medicine that I�ve given you?�

�No�  Well, maybe a little.�

�You know that stuff is just as dangerous as it is helpful.  I
asked you to only use it when you had to.  If you over do it, it
can loose it potency, or even worse it can begin to hurt you.�

�Well, I had to use it.  I ran into a lot of people that made my
journey difficult, but I have achieved my goal.�

�Oh forgive me, I have not introduced myself.  My name is
Lo;  Lo Shin.�

�Nihoa, I am Shampoo.�

�I know, our master has been asking for you.�

Ko di Shina released Lo�s hand and looked toward the
direction of their master�s room.

�How is he?  Has he improved any since I left?�

�No�  But I think he is beyond his worst.  He said he felt that
you would return soon.  I�m glad that he was right.

�Lo, will you take Shampoo in to see him.  I will be in soon,
but I think he would rather see her right now.�

�Yes.�

Lo stepped in front of Shampoo and then directed her to the
door in the far right corner of the room.  The two girls walked
together to their destination.  Lo looked at Shampoo and
smiled.  She then began to talk.

�Our master will be so pleased to see you.  Especially in his
state.  Even though he is in his current condition, he managed
to summon enough strength to live long enough for Ko di to
find you.�

�Who this master you speak of?�

�What, don�t you remember him?�

�No��

Lo stopped and looked at Shampoo, she didn�t say anything
though.  Her eyes only began to fill with tears as she managed
to control her emotions.

�You should ask him yourself when you see him.  He is inside
of the next room.�

Shampoo open the sliding door to the next room and stepped
inside.  She saw a man laying on a bed on the inside.  He
looked to be middle aged and very ill.  She walked up to and
looked down at him from where she stood.  He heard her and
opened up his eyes.

�It�  It� It�s you��

�My little Shampoo has returned.  My have you grown, but I
can still see you have your mothers eyes.�

�How you know I have mothers eyes?�

�I know because I�m your father��

Well right about now your pulling your hair from your head.
Stop doing that or you�ll go bald.  Anyway, it seems that
Shampoo has met her father.  Why hasn�t seen him before, and
why doesn�t she remember him? For that matter, why doesn�t
she remember Ko di Shina?  I know I said this would be the
chapter to answer all you question, But I guess I lied.  ^_^

Your going to have to wait for the next chapther to find out
what is completely going on, but let what you�ve just read;
wet your appetite till you can sink your teeth into the
conculsion.  Until then, have a good time realizing.  I know I
