Now You Zeenba, Now You Don't!


[The camera opens on Ash, Pikachu, Brock and Misty as
they are walking down a small path through a forest. They
all look rather tired and haggard with Ash and Pikachu both
having their tongues hanging out.]

Misty:How long have we been walking?

Brock: I don't know, but I don't think I can last much longer.

Pikachu: Pika Pika Pika!

Ash: You said it Pikachu. We need to stop and rest.

[They all sit down on the side of the path on a patch of grass
and sit their backpacks to the side. Ash rummages through
his backpack and pushes it away with a sigh.]

Ash: Do you guys have any water?

[Ash looks to Brock.]

Brock: Sorry, I'm all out.

[Ash looks to Misty.]

Misty: Me too.

[Ash looks to Pikachu.]

Pikachu: Pika Pika!

Ash: How should I know where you would hide it?! Gosh I'm thirsty.

[The camera pulls back to some bushes on the other side of the path.
We can see two pair of gloved hands holding back a section of the bush
and two pair of eyes looking at the group.]

Brock:Yeah, I'd give anything for some water.

Misty: And some chamomile tea would be nice.

[The camera moves behind the bushes where we see that it is Team Rocket
who are spying on our heroes. The camera cuts to Jesse's shadowed
eyes.]

Jesse: So, they're thirsty! Heh, heh.

[The camera cuts to Jame's shadowed eyes.]

James: And when there's a supply there's always a demand! Heh, heh.

[The camera cuts to Meowth playing with a ball of string.]

Meowth: I love this ball of string! Heh, heh.

[Jesse and James simultaneously punch Meowth in the head.]

Jesse & James: You're ruining the mood!

[Jesse and James compose themselves while Meowth is seeing stars.]

James: So, we better get ahead of them on the double!

Jesse:Or surely there will be plenty trouble!

Meowth: I didn't know we had a new theme song.

[Jesse and James kick Meowth into the stratosphere. The camera cuts
back to Ash, Pikachu, Brock and Misty as they have continued walking
along the path. Suddenly Ash points ahead of them.]

Ash: Hey! What's that!

[The camera moves in the direction where Ash is pointing. In the distance
by the side of the road there is a stand with a big sign that says
'Lemonade'. The camera
moves back to Ash, Pikachu, Brock and Misty whose mouths are watering.]

Ash: Do you see what I see?

Brock: Let's go!

[They all run at a break neck speed towards the lemonade stand. As they come
to
a screeching halt they notice that no one is behind the stand.]

Misty: Isn't there supposed to be someone here?

[James, Meowth and Jesse pop up behind the stand dressed in girl scout
outifits with brown
wigs on.]

James:(In a very high voice) Wouldn't you like to help us girl scouts out?!

Ash: Uh, you sell lemonade, right?

Jesse: No, we don't sell John Biles writings.

[Ash, Pikachu, Brock and Misty all have sweat drops forming on their
skulls.]

Misty: Do you sell the kind of lemonade that you drink?

James: Oh, of course we do! But you should know that we don't accept money
we
only take Pokemon.

Meowth: Especially Pikachus!

[The camera zooms over to Ash and Brock who have inched away from the group
and are talking in private.]

Ash: This seems kinda weird.

Brock: Yeah, a lemonade stand in the middle of nowhere...

Ash: That only takes Pokemon as payment...

Brock: And want Pikachus...

[Ash and Brock go into thinking poses.]

Ash & Brock: Hmmmm...

Misty: Would you take a Psyduck?

[Ash and Brock turn around collectively to see Misty bargaining with Jesse,
Meowth and
James. Ash runs over and picks up Pikachu while Brock grabs Misty by the arm
as
they run away from the stand.]

Ash: We'd love to stay-

Brock:-But we've gotta go!

[The camera cuts to a few minutes later where Ash, Pikachu, Brock and Misty
are walking
along the path that is now in a clearing.]

Misty: Arrrrgh! You blockheads! I could've gotten rid of my Psyduck and
gotten some
lemonade!

[Ash stops and turns to Misty.]

Ash: Misty, didn't you notice anything strange about those girl scouts?

[Misty pauses and snaps her fingers.]

Misty: They were selling lemonade! Girl scouts usually sell cookies!

Brock: Not to mention that one of them looked like a man.

Misty:Yeah, but what are we going to do about water?

Ash: I don't know... Hey what's that?!!

[The camera pans over to what looks like a large mansion at the end
of the path. The mansion has large columns on its porch and two huge
oak doors at its entrance. The camera cuts back
to show the group walking up the path to the mansion.]

Misty: Wow! This looks like a pretty nice!

Ash: I'll say!

[As they walk up the steps to the house the huge oak doors open widely. All
of
them jump back as a beautiful young girl steps out of the mansion. She is
wearing
a long white dress with her black hair pouring over her shoulders. Standing
behind
her at each side are two women in maid's uniforms with green hair.]

Young Girl: Greetings, I am the Countess Barina. How may I help you?

[Ash and Brock both try to stutter out something while Misty looks on
irritated.]

Ash: Well I don't know uh stuff and I.

Brock: Yeah uh okay for sure help.

[Misty baps both of them with Psyduck.]

Misty: What these two idiots are trying to say is that we wanted to know if
we
could get a drink of water.

Barina: You wouldn't happen to be Pokemon trainers now would you?

Brock & Ash: Yeah, yeah, yeah!

Barina: Well, why don't you three come into my house.

Pikachu: Pika!

[Barina bends down and rubs Pikachu's chin.]

Barina: I mean the four of you of course.

[Barina smiles evilly while the two maids laugh with their hands over their
mouths.
Misty raises and eyebrow while Ash, Pikachu and Brock have hearts in their
eyes.
Misty sighs as they all follow the Countess into the mansion. The camera
cuts to
Jesse and Meowth as they are now in the regular outfits (although in
Meowth's case
that means no outfit) looking at the mansion through high tech binoculars.
They put
their binoculars down and smile evilly. The camera cuts to Meowth's shadowed
eyes.]

Meowth: Hmmm... Dey're going into dat mansion.

[The camera cuts to Jessie's shadowed eyes.]

Jesse: Yes... This time we'll get that Pikachu!

[The camera moves over to James who is still dressed in his girl scout
outfit.]

James: Doesn't this dress look great on me!

[Meowth slashes his face several times.]

Meowth: Now, look who's ruining the mood!

[Jesse grabs James and starts to drag him to the mansion with Meowth
walking next to her.]

James: Is it a crime to be stylish?

[The camera cuts to the inside of Barina's mansion. There are several
tapestries
and beautiful paintings that adorn the walls and the rooms seem to stretch
out
forever as the Barina leads our heroes throughout the mansion. Ash, Brock,
Pikachu and
Misty are in awe of how large it all is. Barina turns around to face the
group with her
two maids turning so that they'll be behind her.]

Barina: What do you think of my humble abode?

Ash: It's great!

Brock: It's fantastic!

Pikachu: Pika!

Misty: It's okay.

[A nerve appears on Barina's head, but she quickly regains her composure.]

Barina: As pokemon trainers you must know that this is one of the finest
Pokemon
gyms in the world!

[Both maids nod in unison. Ash and Brock scratch their heads.]

Ash: I've never heard of a gym being around here.

Brock: Me neither.

Misty: Sounds a little fishy to me.

Barina: As the gym coach here I believe that I should give one of you the
honor
of fighting me for the badge I possess.

Ash: Wow! What badge is it!

Barina: Uh.... I can't tell you that before the fight! You have to beat me
first!

[Ash poses dramatically with his fist thrust forward.]

Ash: Okay! I'll fight you for that badge!

[Barina's maids giggle at this while Misty raises an eyebrow.]

Misty: This sounds really fishy.

[The camera cuts to a room shrouded in darkness. Suddenly the lights
buzz on and we can see that there is a chalk outline for a Pokemon ring.
The group enters the large room with Barina and her maids in the lead.
Barina walks over to the other side of the ring.]

Barina: You take this end and I'll take this end, commoner.

[Ash falls on his face.]

Ash: My name is Ash.

[Barina turns around to face Ash.]

Barina: Oh, I'm dreadfully sorry commoner.

[Ash falls on his face.]

Ash: That's okay.

Barina: Okay then... Girls!

[The maids jump away from Barina.]

Maid 1: Go!

Maid 2: Zeenba!

[Everything goes quiet for a while.]

Brock: I've never heard of a Pokemon called Zeenba before.

Misty: Me neither. Where is it? I don't see it?

Barina: Ha, ha! Of course not! It's an invisible Pokemon!

[Ash pops out a poke-ball and throws it to the center of the ring.]

Ash: I choose you Squirtle!

[Squirtle pops out of the poke-ball and looks around itself. After standing
around for a while Squirtle sits down. Barina and her maids are laughing
hysterically at what's going on.]

Ash: Don't just sit there Squirtle! Spray Attack!

[Squirtle shrugs and sprays water all over the ring while Barina and her
maids
laugh louder and louder. The camera goes back to Brock and Misty. Brock
closes
a huge book labeled 'The Big Book of Pokemon'.]

Brock: Misty, there is no Zeenba listed in this book!

Misty: I knew it! She's just playing Ash for a sap! [Shouts to Ash] Ash!
Look
up Zeenba in your pokedex!

[The camera moves back to Ash who blinks.]

Ash: Okay, I guess that would be a good idea.

[Ash takes out the Pokedex and types on it a few times.]

Pokedex: No such Pokemon listed.

[Ash pales.]

Ash: Than that must mean...

[Ash looks over to see Squirtle still spitting water into thin air.]

Ash: ... That this is a new type of Pokemon!

[Misty, Brock and Pikachu facefault.]

Misty: How can she not play him for a sap?

Pikachu: Pika pika.

[Ash calls back Squirtle into his poke-ball. He turns to his friends.]

Ash: Pikachu! Come and help me!

[Pikachu points to himself.]

Pikachu: Pika!

Ash: Yes, you!

[Pikachu's shoulders slump as he walks towards the ring.]

Ash: Okay Pikachu thunder-

[Ash is cut off as the ceiling caves sending clouds of dust everywhere. A
cat shaped hot air
balloon floats down through the hole in the ceiling. James and Jesse jump
out of the
balloon and land on the ground.]

Jesse: To protect the world from devastation!

James: To unite all people's within our nation!

Jesse: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jesse: Team Rocket! Soaring off at the speed of light!

James:Surrender now or prepare to fight!

[Meowth jumps down in front of them.]

Meowth: Meowth! Dats right!

[Barina and her maids look at Team Rocket in abject terror.]

James: Wheezing! Go!

[James throws a pokeball which releases the monstrous pokemon
which heaves huge clouds of gas at Barina and here maids making
them go into a coughing fit.]

Jesse: Arbok! Go!

[Jesse throws a pokeball which releases the king cobra pokemon which
heads straight for Barina and her maids.]

Ash: Pikachu! Thundershock!

[Pikachu jumps into the air and electrocutes Arbok and Wheezing.]

Pikachu: Pikachu!

[The two pokemon fall to the ground and Jesse and James stare at
each other.]

Jesse: We lost!

James: How?! It was a fool proof plan!

[Meowth jumps down and claws their faces.}

Meowth: Yeah! You proved dat only a fool would use dat plan! Let's get
outta here!

[Jesse and James call back their pokemon and Team Rocket jump back into
their hot air balloon. The camera cuts to the inside of the hot air balloon
where
Team Rocket are sitting in the basket.]

Jesse: Well, at least we didn't get electrocuted again.

Ash: Pikachu! Thundershock!

[The camera cuts back to the ring to show Pikachu electrocuting the hot air
balloon
thus popping it. The balloon flies back through the ceiling out of sight.
Ash walks over
to Barina and gives her a hard look.]

Ash: You're not a gym coach, right?

[Barina looks at him and sighs.]

Barina: No, I was just trying to get a few laughs.

[The camera cuts back to Brock and Misty.]

Misty: I guess Ash figured it out for himself.

[The camera cuts back to Ash and Barina.]

Ash: I knew it! No well trained Pokemon would leave its master defenseless!
You couldn't
have been a gym coach! Now, where is that Zeenba.

[Ash looks around the ring while Barina and her maid's jaws have dropped to
the
floor. Misty and Brock walk over and look at Ash with pity.]

Misty: I guess he didn't figure it out.

Ash: C'mon guys! Help me find Zeenba.

[The camera fades to black.]


Until I find better things to write about. Ja ne.
