Does anyone else besides me cringe when you run across a fic, and even if it's very
good you can't stand it? Entirely because the names use are the STUPID Americanized
ones? I hate to say it, but if I see the names, Serena, Amy, Mina, and so on the fic
gets deleted without a second thought.
This is not to imply that story is bad, it's just that the names cause me to cringe
whenever I see them, and I don't enjoy torturing myself, so the story goes unread.
To get to the point, PLEASE use the original Japanese names, I imagine you'll get a
few more readers for your stories.
Also, DON'T reply to the list, some people are going to hate me enough as it is.
This is only fanfic related because it's about getting more people to read the stories,
and debate on character names being right or wrong would be unlikely to qualify as
such, and would probably draw Tybalt's wrath. As such, if you have something to say to
me about it, do it privately.
