Gawd, I'm honored that you even bothered to take time
to read it, Jamie.. I just wrote that as a lark, to give my
mind a rest and to try to work my way around the writer's
block that seems to have formed around "Mi Vida Loco".

Although not specifically mentioned by name, Bridget and I
were quick to visualize Gos' new alter ego as that of Fabio,
and that was all it took to get the laughs coming full force.

That's EXACTLY who I was shooting for, Jamie, as
you'll see in the second draft of Chapter 1. It's considerably
longer now (about 45K, where the first draft was only 28K),
and reflects most of the C&C I received from the list.

Bridget does have a question for you though, Ed: Have you
ever read a trashy romance novel on which Gos' new self is
based?

*snicker* Where do you think I got the idea, Bridget?
My sisters, Tina Marie and Harvette Danielle, are BOTH addicted
to the bloody things, and they've left quite literally dozens
of the blasted things lying around the house when they got
married and moved away. So I have plenty of source material
to work with. Heh.

I'm honored that you took the time to read
Pagliacci, and I hold your opinion in the highest
reguard. I read and re-read your "Ranma Goes to War"
series regularly, and have great respect for you as
a writer. If I recall correctly, you served in the
Navy, and your depictions of Army life were quite
close to the real thing. Well done, and engaging.
(*grin* Which I found surprising coming from a
squid. *smirk* ^_^)

Jamie

Thank you again for the comments, and I
hope you'll enjoy the second draft as much as you
did the first.

	Take care, and be safe.
