A martial arts show does _NOT_ have to be as long

True enough, sugar... and some of the Arts in my series
are, truth to tell, embarassingly silly. I have to admit, when
I've got episodes of Ranma playing in the Ucchan, I do get
a fair number of customers who watch it with a sort of "what
IS this goofy stuff" kinda reaction. That said, they still watch
it.
My apologies to everyone out there. I was just venting my anger at the
fact that there's more Ranma fics than anything else.
Regarding that, I can't add any more that what's been said.
Ranma has a lot of flexibility that stuff like Maison Ikkoku
and Evangelion don't have. And of course, the opportunity
for exposure is so much greater than most. As for myself,
I'm having the damnedest time resuming "Extended Play"
because none of the Greenwood manga is translated.
If anybody has the chance could someone please direct me
to a "good" Ranma fanfic; one where there's no abuse to anyone.
::pikupiku:: Uh, sugar... I hate to break it to you...
Martial arts means fighting. Fighting means violence, and
I suppose that counts as "abuse" in your book.
At the same time, there are other kinds of conflict, and I
don't know if they qualify (personally, I NEVER do fight
scenes... not because of moral qualms, though... I just
can't write them very well, so I don't bother) But if you
want a story without conflict, you don't want a story at all.
There is no plot without conflict of some sort. I guess
you need to define what you don't want.
Itsu mo,
