Actually, I'd like to see the characters used in Shampoo's name in
the manga.

Look 'em up. They're shown in a newspaper article in the Pink and Link
story (V. 29, story 3). As I understand, they were also given way back
at Shamps' first appearance, but I can't confirm that since I don't

have

the untranslated version of that story.

I had a look through the name dictionary I compiled a while ago, and
here is her entry:

The kanji first appeared in vol 4 of the manga. The chinese readings for
those kanji are 'shan' and 'pu', with no tone mark on the first, and an
acute accent on the second (whatever that means).
