Actually, if you really want to get down to it, there's a lady and a rabbit.  
The rabbit is pounding the pill of eternal life, while the lady had 
originally ate the pill, became so light she floated to the moon, then spit 
out the shell which became the rabbit [don't ask; it's Chinese.]  There is 
also the part about the pill no being intended for the lady, but rather her 
husband [he got a peach to sustain his life instead]. . . it gets kinda. . 
weird, for lack of better words.
