Author's Notes:
You know how nobody can tell Sailor Moon is Serena even though she's not
wearing a mask or anything? It's the samething with Ranma and Ryoga (I
still haven't figured out why people can't see the difference! Must be
magic...). Ranma and Ryoga can also stand each other a little better.
They are also a little more responsible since they live by themselves.
All of the Inner Sailor Senshi, except Rei, go to Juuban High.
I'm not exactly sure how old Darien/Mamoru is when the Senshi are 18.
So I'm just going to make him as old as Ranma and Ryoga, 22.
C&C appreciated!

"Shi Shi Hokodan!!"
The blue emotional beam pierces through the youma.
"Hey, Ranma, why can't we just let those Sailor Senshi take care
of them? They seem to be doing fine on their own," the man in a black
tuxedo asks before he sighed. He wasn't really tired though.
"Because! We can't just let those girls do it all by themselves!"
The other man in a kind of opposite sky blue tuxedo turned his attention
back toward an escaping youma. "Mouko Takibisha!!" The yellow beam
dissapates after a while and leaving nothing but chared ash. "'Sides,
it's good training Lost Boy."
"Yeah, I guess your right...hey! Don't call me that!" Ryoga shakes
his fist angrily at his companion.
Ranma throws up his hands in defense. "I was just kidding!
Anyways, I guess that's it for tonights work Ryoga," he says as he
begins to walk away.
Ryoga leaps over a dead youma and hurrys after Ranma. "Hey wait!
Shouldn't we stop calling ourselves our real names? Like what the
Sailor Senshi do?"
"Yeah, I guess your right!" Ranma thinks for a moment. "How
about I'm" -strikes a greek olympic pose- "'The Invincible Mask' and
you my fellow sidekick, uhhh, 'Lost Boy'?"
"Rrrr, Ranma!" Ryoga throws punch at Ranma which he blocks. "First
of all, DON'T CALL ME LOST BOY!!! And second of all I am NOT your
sidekick!! Oh, and your are also NOT invincible!" He throws another
punch at Ranma.
Ranma dodges the punch. "Well I don't see you coming up with any
better ideas!"
"Hmmm...how about I'm, uhhhhh, 'Midnight Mask'? Yeah, that's it!
I'm Midnight Mask!"
"What about me?"
"Make up your own name!"
"Like what?"
"I don't know...something that matches."
Ranma scratches the back of his head. "Err...'Night Mask'?"
Ryoga shakes his head.
"'Star Mask'?"
He shakes it again.
"'Invincible Mask'?"
"You said that already."
Ranma makes gesture as to pull his hair out. "Arghh! I don't know!
'White Mask'?! 'Lunar Mask'!? 'Night Light!?!?...." He continues on to
babble a bunch of other names.
"Wait! Okay! Stop already!"
He doesn't.
Ryoga swaps him on the head. Ranma blinks twice and returns to
his senses. "Will you shut up and listen now?! What was that fifth
one?"
"What, uhhh, 'Lunar Mask'?"
"Yeah that'll do. We'll start calling each other those names."
Ranma shrugs. "Fine. Now _I_ get to name us, Midnight Mask!"
"What'll it be then, Lunar Mask?"
Ranma point up to the dark sky and puts on a semi-serious face.
"The Tuxedo Knights!!" Lightning strikes in the air, accompainied by a
boom of thunder.
A sweatdrop appears on the back of Midnight Mask's head.

Part 1
----------------
He looks up at the balcony at young woman, whose face is shaded.
"W-who are you?"
The young woman is wearing a long beutiful white gown with red jewels
in her to buns at the side of her. Her long pony tails flow down past her
waist.
She doesn't answer his question. "Come to me..." A faint mysterious echo
accompainies her soft voice. "I am in grave danger......you are the only one
who
can save me......"
He shakes his head. "I don't understand!" He didn't understand any
of this. Not the woman nor why he was wearing this strange armor. "Why am I
the
only one who can save you?"
"You are of my.........." The balcony she resides in begins to move of into
the distance. She begins to get smaller and smaller and smaller. Her voice
is too
far of hear.
"Of your what? No! Wait! Don't leave!" He begins to chase after her distant
figure. "I don't understand!" He shouts after her. She stops suddenly and
turns her
head to him; her face is still shaded.
She speaks up. "...wa....p...."
Her voice is barely audible to him. He shakes his head again. "I don't
understand!"
"...ake.....op....."
"What?"
".....rake up......"
"I can't hear you!"
Her face turns mad and her voice gets deeper. "RANMA!! WAKE UP YOU STUPID
IDOIT!!! WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!"
"Gaaahhhhhhh!!!" He screams as the face of the young woman changes to
the face of his roomate. His angry roomate.
Ranma pops out his bed as he begins something very hard being smacking
against his face. He opens his eyes and sees a very angry Ryoga glaring at
him.
"Wha...what happened?" He looks down on himself and notices he is wearing
his usual
sleep wear; a red tank-top with boxers.
"You had that stupid dream of yours again, Ranma! You were yelling out in
sleep saying," -Ryoga puts on a mocking childish voice- "I don't understand!
Wait! Don't
leave me!"
Ranma grabs the colar of Ryoga's yellow tank-top. "Shut up, Lost Boy!"
Ryoga does the same to Ranma's shirt. "Make me!"
Ranma pulls back his fist, but a voice from the hallway enters the room.
"You two brothers at it again?! I told you, no fighting inside or I'll kick
you
out of this here apartment! People are trying to sleep here!" The man seemed
to
be completely ignorant to the fact that he was also making a lot of noise.
"We
don't need all this racket in 2:00am in the mourning!"
Both brothers smile sheepishly at the door as if it were their landlord.
"Sorry!" They say in unision.
"That's better!" Footsteps patter away in the hallway.
---------------
"Hey bro! Breakfasts is ready!"
Ryoga didn't pause in his kata, he only spoke. "Alright."
The two brothers switched of doing the chores since the lived alone;
doing the dishes, make food, buying groceries, etc. Both still go up early
in
the mourning to practice their martial arts. Despite being brothers, they
studied
two very different martial arts. Ranma settled for speed, while Ryoga relied
on
strength. Both of them knew that they were probably the bests martial
artists in
Tokyo, which was escpecially good considering their young age. Young age at
least
for their level.
A lot people thought they were brothers on sight, which mostly true, but
Ryoga was adopted into Ranma's family when they were both 6 years old. Five
years
later, Ranma's parents died in a car crash. They lived in their parents
smalls house,
being taken care of by servants and using their families fortune, until they
were old
enough to get jobs and move out. Actually, they never really got permanent
jobs.
Usually, they entered martial arts tournaments and used the prized money
they won.
Both are pretty well known in the martial arts world.
Ranma groped for the control while he was eating, to turn on the TV.
Ranma began to flip channels.
//...with a little pinch of pepper...//
"Nah."
//...oh, but I love you so much! Why do you have to...//
"Boring."
//...and in other news, Evil has another enemy in town it seems. Along with
the Sailor Senshi...//
"Seen it."
//...I love you! You love me!...//
"Ahhhhh! Change it back, change it back!" Ryoga yells frantically.
//...edo Mask, we add two more to the list. They call themselves the Tuxedo
Knights.
The TV screen shows various shadowed images of Lunar Mask and Midnight
Mask fighting youmas.
//Perhaps cliche'ing the tuxedos and masks, but...//
"Stuff it." Ranma finishes the last of his breakfast and flips off the
TV. "Hey, Ryoga. Can you get the mail?"
"Why me?"
"'Cause your closests."
"Fine." He gets up out off his chair, leaving his empty plate of food on
the table.
As Ranma hears the door opening and closing, he puts away the dishes.
Then something popped up in his mind. 'Ryoga wouldn't get lost from just
taking
a couple steps out of here would he? Nah, there's no way...' He thought.
Ten Minutes Later...
"That idiot. And there goes my mail too! I should of known by now. There's
no telling when he'll be coming back!"
---------------------------
"The Bahamut 4 are almost ready for deploy, My Lord."
"Excellent."
"Umm, My Lord? May I make a comment?"
"What?"
"The Bahamuts are, well, bluntly put, mindless. While they have enourmous
power, they have NO minds at all since we had to make it quickly. Well, they
have
minds, but not minds of their own."
"Like mechanical toys. I shall command and control them myself."
"As you wish, My Lord." The advent youma left the room.
A lone youma sits on his thrown. The room is dark and it shadows his
monsterious form. "My revenge shall come soon, Lunar Knight, Galaxy Knight.
Very
soon shall you face the wrath of Dark Tiamat!!" The shadowed youma begins to
laugh evilly.
"Umm...excuse me?"
"W-what?"
"Can you tell which way to Tokyo?"
"Uhhh...yeah. Just jump through that time-space tear over there..."
"Thanks." The 'unknown' man jumped through hole and dissappeared.
"..."
-------------------
Ranma wandered the city. That what he did when he wasn't training since
he didn't have a real job. He stopped in mid-step as he heard a scream.
Another
youma was on the rampage.
He had an odd reaction.
"Yes! Finally! I thought I was going to die of boredom!"
-----------------------------------
Serena, Mina, Lita, and Ami glared at the youma who was attacking
the students.
"We need to find some place secret! Quick!" Makoto whispered to her
friends. They nodded in agreement.
The youma made another advance on a young girl close by it.
"Hold it right there!"
It grunted in surprise and its eyes darted upward. A young man with a
ponytail stood on top of the roof. He wore a white tuxedo and a grin on his
face. The stranger flipped from his vantage point and reeled in for a
jumpkick.
The monster took the impact and flew back, hitting a tree. It got up and
growled
angrily at the newcomer.
"Prepare to face the wrath of Lunar Mask youma!" Then Lunar Mask
noticed the strange look on the youma's faced, whom it had grown accustomed
to the long intros of the Sailor Senshi.
"What? Guys don't need long poetic speeches! Have you ever seen
Tuxedo Mask make a long speech like Sailor Moon?" Lunar Mask wasnn't really
expecting an answer. "Anyways, prepare to die!"
The youma opened its mouth and let a long tentacle spit out of it.
Lunar Mask jumped aside and grabbed its seemingly tongue. The youma began
to gagging noises as if it were choking.
"Your kidding me," Lunar Mask asked skeptically. "How pathetic."
Just when Lunar Mask thought it was going to sufficate, two more
heads burst out off the youmas shoulders. Lunar Mask smirked. "That's
better!"
Two more tentacles sped toward him causing him to release his grip
on the first. One of the long slimy tentacles managed to wrap itself around
Ranma's ankle and whiplash him over toward its owner. The original head
retracted its tentacle and opened its mouth large enough to devour the
defender
of Good. The third one, who had wrapped itself around Lunar Mask's neck,
tightned its grip while the other pulled him closer his doom.
"Ugh! Y-your going to regret this when I get close enough to..."
"Stop right there youma!"
A sour look appeared on its face as if to say, 'Great. Here comes the
calvery.' Lunar Mask noticed this look and wondered,'Are these things
growing
personalities or somethin?'
Four young woman appeared a meters away from the youma and Lunar Mask.
"I am Sailor Mars!"
"Sailor Venus!"
"Sailor Jupiter!"
"Sailor Mercury!"
"And I am Sailor Moon! Together we will triumph over..."
While the youma was waiting for the introductions to finish -'Personality
only it seems' he thought inbetween-, Lunar Mask grabbed one of the youmas
tongues and shoved it toward his other fist.
"Kachuu Tenshin Amaguriken!!" His fist turned into a blur of a hundred
fists as he pummeled the youma with his speed. The monster fell back in
pain,
clutching its face, but Lunar Mask didn't stop there. He swung his fist to
sock it in the jaw, rounded and kicked it with his heel, continued on with
the motion by sweep the youma from under its feet, then kicked it in the
back and into the air; all in a fluid movement.
Lunar Mask pulled back his hands and formed a small yellow sphere
in his palms.
"Jupiter Thunder Crash!!"
"Venus Love-Me Chain!!"
"Mouko Takibisha!!"
All three energy attacks exploded in the air when they met its target,
leaving nothing but dust and smoke. It was a little bit of an overkill,
though.
Sailor Moon sniffled a little, tears forming in her eyes. "You didn't
let me finish my speech!"
Lunar Mask face-faults.
"Sailor Moon!" Sailor Mars yelled at her in scolding tone.
"I-I mean good work! But who are you?"
Lunar Mask just stared at her. 'She looks familiar...' He shook himself
out of his trance; it was all just a blur to him. "Lunar Mask!.....Don'cha
ya watch TV?"
"Yes, of cour-ouch! Hey! Why did you do that for Sailor Mars!?"
Sailor Mars ignored her. "What she ment was who are you? _Really_? And why
are you helping us?" She was getting strange vibes from this man, Lunar
Mask.
Faintly similar to theirs, but that energy he just emitted a while ago was a
complete mystery. Nothing like theirs.
Lunar Mask shrugged. "I feel like it. Later! My jobs done."
The four senshi stared off after the strange man.
"I think we should have another meeting on this Lunar Mask, not to mention
that other fellow, Midnight Mask," Sailor Mercury suggested.
"Yeah, me too," Sailor Mars said, agreeing. "How about you guys?"
"I think he's pretty hunky!" Sailor Venus replied happily.
"Same here!"
Sailor Mars glared at her friend. "Sailor Moon! You already have Tuxedo
Mask!
Besides we don't even know the guy!"
Sailor Jupiter was of in her own little dream world. "He reminds me of my
old
boyfriend!"
The other Sailor Senshi looked skeptically at her and rolled their eyes.
"What?? Really! I'm serious!"
-----------------------
Later that day, Ryoga still wondered around aimlessly around Tokyo.
"Arrghh!!
Where in the world am I now!?"
"Hey! Who are you? And what are you doing here?" A young woman yelled
angrily
at Ryoga.
Ryoga blushed in embarassment. "Oh, I'm, well, kind of lost."
"Oh? Where do you need to go?"
"Ichiju-kan. It's an apartment house."
"I think I know where that is...down by the gym?"
Ryoga nodded.
"Oh, well that easy! Just take a left down there, then go southeast, next
follow
the..."
As he listened to polite woman, he realised that he knew he wouldn't be
able to
follow those directions. "No, no, nevermind. It's useless." Ryoga's
shoulders slumped
down as he began to walk away.
"Why is that?" The girl asked curiously. They were perfect directions to
her
current knowledge.
"Because of my bad sense of direction. I can't even walk in a straight
line!
It's like a curse that follows me around! I hate it! I always have to have
my brother
around just to walk me down the street!! ARRRGGHHH!!!!!" Ryoga punched the
ground
in frustration causing multiple cracks.
The young woman seemed taken back by this display of power. 'H-how did he
do
that?!' She spoke up. "Well, I'd like to walk you down to your place but
it's a little
late for me to be going out." She added in her own comment in her mind. 'Not
to mention
I don't exactly feel comfortable around you even though he's not emitting
any evil
energy.'
Ryoga's mind seemed to come back to him and he remembered he wasn't alone.
"Heheh, oops, Sorry," he said sheepishly. "I wouldn't wan't to impose on you
anyways.
I guess I'll be going now."
As the young woman stared after him, sympathy welled up in her. 'He seems
so
sad...I know!' She raced over back to Ryoga. "Wait!"
Ryoga looked back over his shoulder. "Huh?"
"I might be able to do something for you!"
The lost boy seemed overly delighted by this. "Really?! How?"
The girl hesitated. "Well, you know how you just punched the ground and
made it
crack?"
He rubbed the back of his head at the thought. "Yeah?"
"I'm not sure, but that's probably because you concentrated all of your
energy onto one spot. I'm guessing that your not very focused on your
destination,
maybe on someone or something, but not where you want to go or how your
going to get
there. With my Shinto training, I might be able to help you concentrate on
getting
to go where you want to and get their. I'm not sure how bad your sense of
direction
is, but from you've told me, it sounds pretty bad."
Ryoga blinks. "Your a Shinto priestess?"
"Yes, I am. Oh, I haven't introduced myself, have I? I am Rei Hino."
"I'm Ryoga Saotome."
They shook eachothers hands and said, "Nice to meet you!"
Rei gestured toward the shrine. "Why don't you come in? You can stay here
while
I train you!"
"But I don't want to impose..." Ryoga started.
"What? Your not going to be imposing when your working in the shrine are
you?"
"I'm working in the- oh! Yeah sure! I guess I woudn't be imposing!"
"Great! Let's go inside now."
"Okay. Can I make a call?"
"Sure."
---------------------------
The phone rang. Ranma looked at his watch which read 8:00pm before walking
over to the phone. "Hello?"
//Brother? It's me Ryoga.//
"Bro? Hey, how you doing? Where are you now? China?"
//NO, Ranma, I'm here in Tokyo. I'm staying in a Shinto Shrine.//
"Where?"
//I don't know, hold on...//
Ranma waits on the phone and he begins to hear another faint voice. A
womans
voice.
//Oh, ok. Thanks Rei. It's the one that's kind of on the outskirts of
Tokyo.
It's called the Hikawa Shrine.//
"Okay. Who was that I just heard? And who's Rei?"
//That was Rei. She's the Shinto priestess in this Shrine.//
"Oh, I see! You finally found someone that'll except your sense direction
and
you've already moved in together!"
//Shut up, Ranma! It's not like that!//
"Sure..."
//Fine. Believe what you want. Anyways, she says she can help me with my
bad
sense of direction!//
"Yeah, right Ryoga. You mus' be dreamin'."
//I'm not! I'm serious!//
"Well, I hope it works then. How 'bout I come over this weekend and bring
some
of your stuff?"
//Okay! Bye!//
"Bye!"
-----------------------
"They're 95% complete, My Lord."
"Excellent."
----------------------
He walked. Or he tried to walk. He was not sure whether it would be
considered
walking. Each time he tried to move his legs, ankles, and feet, they seemed
to take
control by themselves. Like they had another brain all together. 'Straight,'
he
commanded them. 'Straight, straight, straight, left, left...no!! Straight!'
He tried
it again. Slower this time. He lifted his leg and threw it straight foward.
Success.
Now his other leg. Success. Now he started walking again with a faster
tempo. 'It's the
weekend isn't?' The tip of his foot tilted slightly. 'Didn't Ranma say he
was coming this
weekend?' Both feet started to turn now. 'Wonder if he's coming today or
Sunday'. 180
degree turn.
"RYOGA!!!"
He opened his eyes. "Huh? Wha?" Instead of looking at the tree he
originally
saw before closing his eyes, he saw Rei with a scolding look. The lost boy
laughed
meekly. "Oops. I did it again didn't I?"
"Yes, you did! Geez, when you said you couldn't walk in straight line I
thought
you were exagerrating! But were making progress. Closing your eyes does
seems to help
you concentrate better!" Rei told her student, then she shook her head.
"Let's take a
break from your training. We need to sweep anyways."
"Okay. I'll help you!"
"Err...okay. Just stay close to me!" The first time Rei let Ryoga sweep,
she
didn't bother to watch him. She just did another chore, but she completely
disreguarded
his horrible sense of direction. No sooner was he found sweeping the
pavement across the
street.
"Hey, Ryoga!" Came a happy elderly voice.
"Oh, hey Gramps!" Ryoga took to himself to call the old man gramps or
grandpa
because he insisted. He said something about "just like family" or of the
such. Gramps
reminded him so much of his forgotten grandfather, Happy. He and Ranma
always loved to
play with the shrunken old man when they were kids- horse riding, sparring,
showing them
neat magic tricks. Sadly, he hardly ever visited. One time when Ranma was
born, the next
when Ranma's parents adopted Ryoga, and the final time both brothers ever
saw him was
when they were ten years of age. The memories faded and he focused back on
sweeping.
Sweeping the stairs that lead to the street. 'Woops! Almost got lost again!'
He started
back toward the Shrine.
