Interesting idea. Tell me, would you happen to be a Colleen
McCullough fan? It's the idea of the Tendos living with Aurelia
and Gaius Julius in their insula that suggests it. The scene with
Kasumi babysitting Gaius was very cute. I liked it a lot.
A question I had was how both the Tendos and Saotomes
ended up in the past together. Unless you have Happosai
seeking them out separately to wreak revenge on both Soun
and Genma. Though this wouldn't explain why they end up in
Rome together either. Otherwise, you'll have to explain it
since Ranma has never met the Tendo daughters before the
engagement scene in the beginning of R1/2.
Anyway, an interesting twist but I think you'll need to have
much bigger plot twists in the story, rather than simply
finding 'historical' counterparts for the other main characters
in order to keep readers interested.
Keep writing.

novels and liked them.
