Sorry it took so long to post this part of the fic, but I had
computer problems. But here it is. There will be only 7 parts, unless
someone else has any other ideas. I know it's short, but that's all I
can do. But at least it's good. Well I think it's good. And if you agree
with me or don't, send C and C *_*
Also I just wanna apologize for my fic, When the rose shatters. I
was going something called writers withdrawl. It's where I wanna write a
story because I haven't written one for a little while. But I had no
good ideas, which resulted in that story. I'm so sorry and please
forgive me! *_*
Last of all. This game has a resemblance to Atlus's playstation game
Tactic's Ogre. I apologize for this, but that game was the inspiration
for this story. Therefore, I think{not really. I've never thought
before.} that this is 1/2 fanfic and therefore I post this copyright.
WARNING: This part of the fic contains murder and blood, like most of
the parts. I apologize to the people who do not like this or who are
tired of it but I need that kinda stuff to advance the story.
Well here it goes................ *_*

Part 5 of Beguile.........
"Are you sure you want to go through with this? Telling the people
already? We've only had the man for about a day." Complained Sainmer
from behind me.
I looked back at him and smiled, knowing a victory was soon at hand.
"The sooner I tell the people the greater the chance that I can stop the
revolution front. They have a powerful grip on Teln and Remen, but this
news will loosen their grip."
Sainmer sighed and pulled on the robe. He was leading Uiel around
like a dog. Uiel was stumbling behind because of his recent wounds. I
let the medic heal the serious ones, but the smaller ones were to be
reminders of what would happen if he double crossed me.
He wore a white tunic and tanned leather pants, typical peasant
clothes. He looked a lot better then he did yesterday, during the
torture. He looked as though he had eaten for one thing. And he looked
like he had more blood in him, considering a good bit of it was knocked
out of him.
Sainmer was dressed in black wool pants and a black wool shirt. He
wore a long black cape and a sword was clipped to his black belt. He was
wearing the same thing he wore when he arrived to discuss the treaty.
That's what he usually wore, he didn't like what kings usually wore he
preferred the simple, just like me.
And finally I was forced to wear the finest clothes that I had. It
could not be described in words how beautiful, and heavy it was. It was
a massive mix of red, gold and white. Each color fit together perfectly
to create an amazing suit. But I hated it so much. The only reason I
wore it was because I had to give a speech to the people, and they had
to see me as a powerful figure. But the worst thing about standing on
that ledge and giving a speech was the fact that a sniper could pick me
off so easily.
Sainmer gave another yank on the rope which was tied around Uiel's
arms and legs. Uiel stumbled forward and cursed a little. But neither
Sainmer or I were paying attention to the prisoner, they were thinking
about what was going on now. All the conspiracies and assassinations
were distracting them.
So Sainmer, in an attempt to lighten the mood asked me a question.
"Youlem, why don't you just settle down with a woman and live a simple
life. No one will try to kill you and you might be happy." There was a
bit of sarcasm in his voice.
I nodded in response and felt his concealed sword buckled to his
belt. "Maybe. But I find all the happiness I need fighting with a
sword." Sainmer looked around the room and yanked on the robe again.
"Well there's no real problem with that. But make sure your fighting an
enemy with the sword, not a friend."
I answered him in a sigh and opened the large door at the end of
the hall. The door hit of the walls with a small thud but I ignored it.
I stepped out onto a large platform attached to the wall. It was
circular in shape and not ver large. It was made of white limestone
which looked very beautiful. Around the edges of the platform was white
marble railing that protected people from falling over. It was over
sixty feet down and you wouldn't survive the fall.
I stepped out onto the platform and looked upon the crowd. There
were thousands upon thousands of people standing below, waiting for the
speech I was about to give. They looked to be from every walk of life,
even a few nobles could be seen. From what Uiel told me news of this
speech had already reached Teln. But I couldn't wait until they heard
this news that I'm sending their way.
Looking behind me I saw Sainmer and Uiel standing just inside the
castle, waiting for the speech. Sainmer looked worried while Uiel looked
like he had no spirit left.
I then turned my attention to the people looking up at me. They were
all silent once I yelled out at them. They stopped talking so fast that
I was rather surprised. It usually took them quite while to stop
talking, at least to the point where I could talk. But maybe it had
something to do with the situation at Teln and Remen, which it did. They
were probably worried about what was happening and wanted my
reassurances that everything was going to work out.
Clearing my throat and began my speech. "People of Armel, I am here
to tell you of the recent happenings. It seems that the revolt in Teln,
the assassination of both Moraner and Allen was caused by a fourth
party. These people are known as the Almeir revolution front are bent on
total domination of the three countries. Their ranks number no more then
two hundred, but they are efficient. But they are cowards, fighting in
the shadows and manipulating the people. They are worse then the Remen.
They have no honor, no morales, and no limits. They will do whatever
they can to gain control of this continent and you. I have obtained this
information from a spy, captured by my soldiers. His name is Uiel and he
has told me that a number of high ranking people are members of the
front. Jeros, Emy, Relen, half of the nobles in this country and my own
general. Though we have apprehended all the spies in this kingdom, there
are still more in the other kingdoms." I paused for a moment and
motioned for Sainmer to come in with Uiel.
He did and looked up at the pelting hot sun, wondering how I could
take this wearing all that bulky clothes. It was twice as warm here as
it was in Teln, and three times as much as it usually is in Remen. There
was absolutely no wind and no clouds even cloaked the sun in the least.
As Uiel was pushed forward I continued with my speech. "These two
men are Uiel, and Sainmer Horim. As you might have heard, Sainmer has
pledged to be serve me until his kingdom is reestablished." I pulled
Uiel forward to give the crowd a good look at him. "This man was smart
to come and tell me this. Unlike the other members of the front, he will
not die. But the power hungry monsters known as the Almeir revolution
front will feel the sting of steel. Will you let these people get away
with their twisted plot?" The crowd yelled back a loud no. "Will you
allow them to undermine everything Armel stands for?" They all yelled no
again. "So will you help me in defeating this enemy bent on destroying
us?" They all yelled yes again. "Then join me in removing this threat!"
And a loud cheer came up from the crowd..............
Jeros took a sip of wine and sighed. He knew that by now the Youlem
had made his speech. Soon news would travel here of the fronts deeds and
chaos would erupt. Anything could happen, but any way it goes, the front
was losing. Soon the Armel would attack and that would mean the end of
the front, for now at least. They may not catch everyone, but they will
catch most of them.
The end was near, war was coming............
I sat in my throne, wondering how long it would take for the news to
spread to Teln and Remen. It might not take all that long, hopefully it
would reach there within a week.
It had been about four hours since the speech and I had now dressed
in a suit similar to Sainmer's. I wore a woolen, blood red shirt with
long sleeves and a pair of long brown pants. I wore a blue cape and had
a sword buckled to my brown belt.
Sainmer was now sitting in a throne similar to mine, but much less
elaborate. But for him it was an improvement over the throne he sat in
at home. Teln was a very poor country ever since the Remen had looted
it. No one in our two country's liked the Remen, but for some reason war
never came up.
I sighed and heard a knock at the front door. I yelled back telling
the person that he could come in. The door opened creaked as it opened
up, I really needed to get that oiled. But what was more important was
getting rid of the man who walked in, Asmor.
Asmor was draped in dark black robes which covered everything except
his hands and his face. His hair was hidden within the robe giving him
an feeling of mystery. He gently moved up towards me, barely making a
sound.
I sighed again hoping the man would go away. "What do you want
Asmor?"
Asmor smiled as he got within three meters of me. He then pulled out
a long wooden crossbow from within his robe and pointed it at me. "I
want you to die. Nothing complicated, your majesty."
I smiled as though to mock him and Yelled out, "Guards!"
Then the side doors burst open and a dozen guards ran through. Asmor
looked at the guards in surprise as they surrounded him. "What the
hell?"
I relaxed when I saw the look on his face. "Asmor, Asmor, Asmor. Or
should I say Romsa. Age, 41, born on March thirteenth. Born in Teln and
the number one assassin for the Armel revolution front."
Romsa nodded slowly and grinned at me as he pulled the trigger
sending a crossbow bolt towards me. It flew through the air and hit
right above my heart, the force of the shot moving me back against the
back of my throne. "At least if I die I will kill you."
I then pulled the crossbow bolt from the place where it hit and
threw it aside. I examined the look on his face and it gave me such
pleasure. I could tell Sainmer was enjoying this as well, but not at the
level I was. "Romsa, you fool. I was expecting this all along, couldn't
you tell? I always make sure I wear a good, hard breastplate in
situations like this. Now seize Romsa."
The guards listened to their orders and grabbed Romsa's arms,
holding him firmly. Romsa spat on the ground and was soon hit in the
stomach by a guard for that act. "Whatever you do, you won't get me to
talk."
I nodded and got up off my throne. I walked down the steps and
looked in his eyes. His eyes were filled with feelings of hatred and a
longing vengeance. "I know it would be impossible to crack you, no
matter how hard I tried. But I have something else planned for you."
With that I drew my sword.
I rubbed my hand over the cold steel and then my smile grew bigger.
"Time to die Romsa." I then drew the sword through his chest, and the
guards let go of him, stepping backwards and then leaving the room, just
as I told them to earlier.
The blood flowed out like a river that would never end. It covered
my sword, his clothes and the floor. He keeled over and spat some blood
on the floor. After all of that he had the nerve to laugh at me. It was
a cold laugh which sent a chill down my spine. At least I wouldn't have
to hear that laugh ever again. "I may have lost this battle, and maybe
the front will lose the war. But at least Uiel won't tell you anything
anymore."
I pointed the sword at his blood stained body and demanded, "What
did you do to him?"
"I don't know exactly. Someone must have accidentally slipped
something into his food. And now he's no more." And Romsa laughed at me
again, mocking me.
I couldn't take it anymore and stabbed my sword through his head.
That's when he died, that's when I knew he would never bother me again.
Sainmer had a weak stomach and turned his eyes away from the scene
earlier, not wanting to see blood.
I pulled my sword out of his head and looked at his now lifeless
body. Blood still flowed out and it was a surprise that his body had so
much blood. Reaching into my pocket I took out a piece of wool and wiped
it along the blade of my sword, removing any trace of blood on it. I
then back away and wiped the blood of my shoes. Sainmer was looking at
me in disgust, but I didn't care.
Sainmer took out a handkerchief and placed it over his face. "Can't
you get someone to come clean this up?"
I nodded and left the room looking for a maid. I sheathed my sword
as I walked. And for once in my life, I was totally satisfied. A feeling
of bliss came over me and I was happy.

What do you think? Send C and C or flames so I can find out. I need to
know if anyone is reading it, I'm getting desperate.
And now I ramble *_*
If you read my story the seven sins and virtues then you must be
thinking, "This is not as good." And you're probably right. BUT! This is
ment to be realistic{Gasp!} Therefore making it my first realistic
story. The closest thing I ever wrote to a realistic fic before this was
Project B.A.D. But this is WAY more realistic.
Also just a simple tip. If you haven't noticed this yet, you
probably already have. If you spell Asmor backwards you get Romsa.
Well see ya! Send C and C, PLEASE! *_*
