Cool!  Misako and Usagi just committed treason!  Isn't that a capital 
offence based on what happened earlier in this timeline?

Treason is a capital offence. Wether the girls commited it or not is
another matter. I doubt it though because that would be counter-productive
to the story's goals.

Well, since they've successfully overthrown the rulers and installed 
themselves in their places, it's not treason.

How so?  Remember the quote:  Why doth treason never prosper?  Because if 
it prospers, none dare call it treason."

Ah but the girls are planning to return they're parents to power. That and
having the girls facing treason chragex is not what we (Will and I) wanted.
