This is part of an idea I've had kicking around in my head for..Oh about 2
years now. I decide to act on it a bit, which produced this prologue....
And I need your help, because I went a bit funky in creating this
prologue. The sytle for the rest of the story is going to be prose, but
the first parts of this are set up as an Audio recording and a news
article. I was trying to do osmething new, but I don't know if it works or
if it's just a simmering pile of Monkey Dung...:P
SO I'm looking for some comments, any, as to whether or not this works. I
can redo it in prose easily enough, but I'd like to try something new. I
just want to make sure it's not collosally bad....
Well, nmore worse than my other stuff....^^^

Employee1: Hey, hey, what are you watching on the company security monitor.
Employee 2: Nothing...Nothing at all Sir!!!!
Employee 1: It don't look like nothing Daisuke, it looks like a whole lot
of something.
Employee 2: Just some film footage during the day, I'm analyzing it as we
speak.
Employee 1: Sure...And I just bet we had a bunch of nude Idol singers
visit our lowly construction site today?
Employee 2: It could happen...
Employee 1: HA!!! I don't think so!!! So we have an employee watching
some perverted stuff during his shift. As your boss I'm afraid I'll have
to write this up.
Employee 2: But sir!!!
Employee 1: No I must, because we just can't simply have our employee's
doing this. Especially behind their boss backs.
Employee 2: Sir?
Employee 1: Next time, call me in so I can watch. Nothing much ever
happens around here anyway so I could us the diversion. If you know what
I mean. Now patch this through the big screen right now.
Employee 2: Yes sir!!
Employee 1: Wow!!! that's some good quality stuff, I'm afraid I'll have
to be borrowing this off you after work!!!
Employee 2: But sir!!!!
Employee 1: No buts...Now let's fast forward to the scene with Megumi
again....EH? Is something wrong in grid Alpha 2 Daisuke?
Employee 2: Ahh..No sir, we've had no red lights from that section at all
this night.
Employee 1: Strange, I thought I saw a light flicker there. Patch through
the security cameras in that zone to the main screen.
Employee 2: Yes Sir!!!
Employee 1: Come on, come on. I wanna get back to Megumi-chan!!
Employee 2: I'm hurrying sir...I just can't seem to get a working camera
in grid Alpha 2. Switching to Alpha 1 sir.
Employee 1: What do you mean not working, run a diagnostic on the
cameras.
Employee 2: Already started....That's strange the diagnostic won't run.
And we can't get any working cameras in Grid Alpha 1 either.
Employee 1: What the hell, punch up the power grid and the boomer matrix.
Make sure those are still operating!!!
Employee 2: Trying to log in. Internal system is down, no response.
Trying to enter the main computer...Sir that's down as well.
Employee 1: Try and find me anything that's working in this place. And
get me the tower, we have a code red in Hokkaido.
Employee 2: Yes sir...I'm sorry, but the phone line's are dead sir, even
the direct hook up ones.
Employee 1: That's not possible!! Is there anything here working?
Employee 2: Besides us there is one workstation. One operating on the
node �ONI'
Employee 1: But we don't have a node called �ONI'...Quickly, check out
this station.
Employee 2: Checking..Logging in, and we have contact!!!
Employee 1: What does this node contain?
Employee 2: Searching..So far the node contains nothing but a domain
name. The name is �ONI'.
Employee 1: Continue search...
Employee 2: Continuing...Wait a minute, I think we may have hit a fire
wall!!
Employee 1: I thought you said there was nothing there?
Employee 2: Well I guess there is...trying counter measures.
Employee 1: Any luck...
Employee 2: No sir....Wait a minute, I'm past...It's a...It's a...
Employee 1: What is it?
Employee 2: It's a Trojan horse...We've been hit by a virus!!! Starting
sweep!!!
Employee 1: How can we be hit by a virus, we've got the best hackers in
Genom working on our defenses!!!
Employee 2: I don't know..But we've been infected. Our sections stations
should be coming down with the virus any minute!!
Employee 1: Quickly, back up any important data!!!
Employee 2: It's not after any data...It's just typing something on the
screen!!!
Employee 1: What is it typing?
Employee 2: I believer it's Kanjii...I'm not up on it but it looks
familiar.
Employee 1: Let me have a look...My god...It's...It's...
Employee 2: Sir..We're losing power in our station. Black out in 5 seconds...
Employee 1: Damn it get a pictur....

Younger head of Reformation party promises to shake things up for Diet
Elections.
The new head of the Reformation party, a party supported mainly by the
Association of Japanese Shrines and Temples, unveiled his parties new
platform for the upcoming Diet elections. In speaking to a small but
vocal crowd of supporters, the young and dynamic Shirow Kyo promised his
party would bring new energy to the stale world of Japanese poltics.
"The old guard has become fat off the industrialization of our fair
city," Kyo spoke in one of the few remaining parks in Tokyo. "We must
look towards our quality of life, we must bring back our old beautifull
city complete with flowers and all. We must stop the policy of over
building and over technology."
The message is a strange one for MegaTokyo politics, as most parties
support the development of the MegaTokyo complex. But Kyo believes that
the quality of life is being lowered as we add more Technological Babels
to this city.
"I believe the people want to stop our city from becoming a mess of
circuits and robots!! We want trees and plants. We want shrines to pray
in, and parks to play in. May the Kami's have mercy on our souls for what
we've done to this land."
The message is new, but most observers think voters will pass it by
because of the ties to the Association.
"The reformation party has always been a party of Seniors," A political
scientist at Megatokyo U was quoted as saying, "They may have a young
face to appeal to the younger voters, but the message is still directed
at Seniors who remember the old Tokyo."
Kyo disagrees, calling his message a policy for all peoples. "I believe
we can reach everyone, and change everyone's life for the better. After
all shouldn't that be the main goal of politicians everywhere?"
