Actually, the IQ test given by a psychologist is based on problem solving
and pattern recognition, and has little to do with the subjects current
education level. Based on that, with Ranma and Ryogas learning curve, they
would score rather high on an IQ test, however, they both lack the patience
to apply it to something that has not sparked their interest, ie.
schoolwork.
Taking into account how quickly they pick up techniques and adapt to new
situations, also take into account the mental resilience requiered for them
to adapt to their cursed lives.. I would rate them both in 120 to 130
range, if not higher.. Remember, IQ is a measurment of potential, not of
actual knowledge and both characters have serious potential, they simply
lack the desire to apply it in anything besides martial arts

Hmmm, with that possibility in mind, that leads to another questian. Who
would
be smarter, Ranma or Ryoga?
Neither had that much schooling since they had both spent most of their
lives on
the road.
Would Ryoga score any higher on an IQ test?
I would hope that he had learned some things in his travels.

Again, IQ has nothing to do with the current educational level.
Honestly however it is hard to tell, they are both highly adaptive and
resilient, but in the end, Ranma would be the one who wins, albeit by a
narrow margin.
