This is going a little to far. It seem's that every once in a while
people want to throw there frustration towards something, this time it's
non-anime fics. Like really, is it that important. Does it matter if
someone posts a fic that's not anime or original?{Like me} If you want
Because there are other forums for non-anime fanfics. The purpose of this
list is Anime fanfics, not stories about Elvis or Kirk/Spock, or
devilbunnies.
Given that some people have to pay by the hour for their online time,
every bit of mail that is off-topic is costing people money to get
something they didn't get on this mailing list to read. Yes, they can
just delete it, but they shouldn't have to.
Much as I'd like to post my 'Summer People' series on here, I don't,
because its only connection to anime/manga is that in one episode, someone
watches a Tenchi episode.
We've largely ignored the occassional straying from the list's theme
because it's been fairly rare and not worth hurling flaming chainsaws
over, but if we get deluged by off-topic stories because more people take
your attitude, we may have to break out the flaming zima grenades.
