Doctor's notes:
It seems to me that due to a mixture of intense psychological confusion due
little stability in his life, the patient has become severely depressed. I
would consider his claims of 'Jusenkyou Curses' to be a delusion, had I not
seen the evidence with my own eyes.
This case should be treated with care. I do not believe it requires
hospitalisation, or drug therapy, but the patient would benefit greatly from
a change of scenery. He is not, in my opinion, suicidal, but considering his
comments, that cannot be ruled out as a possibility. He needs to be
elsewhere, as his condition had progressed to agoraphobia, and to a much
lesser degree, anthropophobia. (His social dysfunctionality can be dealt
with in other ways at another time; the problems he has at present are the
most pressing).
I can only prescribe a holiday- WITHOUT (and I cannot stress this enough)
any knowledge of the fact being given to his family or friends. This would
be a great error.
Interesting idea, maybe you should write more about what happens before and
after his vacation? How he deals with the insanity once he gets his feet under
him? How he pulls the vacation off?
