Lots of people are bouncing around the idea of Pikachu as Ash's love interest.
The only problem is that Pikachu isn't humanoid. ("Gotta poke em all!")
My solution is that the combination of Pikachu and Misty would have about
the same powers and personality as Lum from Urusei Yatsura. (The colors
differ, so fudge it.)
Personally I'll settle for one little Pikachu joke in Urusei Megamisama!
(That will have all true Pikachu fans banding up to come after me in a
howling mob. :-)
So given that I won't survive too long, I give the challenge of writing
Pikachu as Ash's girlfriend to whoever thinks they can handle it.
Ash: "Mom, you've got married again?"
Professor Oak: "Yes Ash, your mother has been a great help to me."
Ash: "Wow, I guess this means that May is now my niece!" (Grabs her
hands)
Gary: "Hey, hands off my sister you little punk!"
Mrs Catchum, er Oak: "Look, they're already fighting like brothers."
