I have quite a few ideas on several Ranma 1/2 fusions, but let me add a word
about the Ranma1/2-Btech fusion first. :)
Indeed, I like the Ranma/Battletech idea. Write it up... I'll gladly preread
it... but there is one problem. You haven't factored in Ranma's
'dual-gender-problem' anywhere, and that's where half the fun is right
there! Otherwise... it's pretty much a story of forbidden romance set in the
b-tech era. In that case, rename the characters and call the story your own.
There are a few slight problems I see in your story mostly having to do with
certain taboos in the b-tech universe, but it's all very workable and I'll
be glad to elaborate in more detail should you decide that you want to go
forward with it. I know the b-tech universe real well, and I would suggest
that you read a few Battletech novels before going forward with this,
especially the ones written by Michael Stackpole.

I do have some ideas that I'd like to see with Ranma 1/2 which haven't been
done yet:
Ranma 1/2/Futaba-kun change (this one would mix PERFECTLY)
Ranma 1/2/Serial Experiments Lain (I'd like to do this, but I haven't any
good plots)
Ranma 1/2/Mononoke Hime (then again... this idea could draw some fire)
Ranma 1/2/Goldenboy (Fuuuuuun! Get the guy who wrote Girl Days to do this!)
If anyone wants to try and tackle these ideas, go for it... and let me know!
