It was nearly 10:00 at night, Usagi had just snuck back into her house after battling a Youma. As she lay across the bed, Luna complimented her on a well done job.
"You saved quite a few lives back there Usagi." commented Luna. If Sailor Moon had not been around the Dark forces might have been able drain all of those people of the lifeforces, but since you defeated it the energy which it had collected went back to its original owner's."
"Luna," whined Usagi. " When will the Dark forces leave us alone? I thought that after we defeated Queen Beryl and Metallia that the Dark forces would disappear. Is there someone more powerful than Beryl in the Dark forces?"
"I do remember that Beryl had one other General." Luna mentioned. " Her name was Amethyst and she was supposed to be the strongest of her generals. I always wondered why Beryl never decided to use her in the battle against us. I have heard stories that Amethyst was Beryl's daughter but I have never found any corroborating facts to prove this. Perhaps this is the reason Beryl did not send her most able commander to fight us. Beryl had probably wanting to use her as a trump card. This would explain the strength of these new Youma."
"There's nothing we can do about tonight is there, Luna? yawned Usagi. " I'm going downstairs to watch a little television before I hit the sack."
Usagi walked down the stairs to the family room where the only TV in the house was. She carefully turned it on not wanting to wake anyone else up. She was expecting the next episode of her favorite series "Slayers Triumphant", but was surprised to see a special bulletin marker on the station. Usagi thought "why does it have to be right now? Why couldn't they have done this thirty minutes later after she saw the Lina/Gourry marriage ceremony? She had been waithing for this to happen for five years now and it has to be interrupted by THIS!!!!
Then the picture went to a rooftop view. She saw a shadowy figure leaping roof to roof. The announcer was saying something about this being a thief whose victems always became better people after being robbed by her. The only name she caught was "Kamikaze Kaitoh Jeannu" Usagi gasped quickly turned off the television and ran upstairs slamming the door behind her which woke Luna up.
"Luna," Usagi said while gasping for air. "The news was just on reporting about a thief whose victims are better people because she stole something from them. Could they have been possessed by Youma? Could she have powers similar to mine? Could she be another Senshi? After all, we didn't know who the other Senshi were until after we met them and wasn't Minako fighting crime in Britain before I even knew I was Sailor Moon."
Luna mused. "Well there is a possibility that there are other Senshi besides us, and she may very well be one. I have been sensing a larger amount of magic in the air than normal. We should discuss this at a special meeting tomorrow at Rei's shrine."
"Ah Luna," whined Usagi. " I was wanting to go to the arcade tomorrow. Motoki told me the new Sailor V video game had just arrived and I wanted to try it out and maybe Mamo-chan will be there. I should get to bed now if I want to be on time for school tomorrow."
As usual Usagi overslept and only woke up because her mother pulled her kicking and screaming from the bed. When she finally realized what time it was she made her famous five-minute dash for school. She arrived at the front door right as the last bell wrung.
"Oh no, not again," sighed Usagi. " I'm going to get dtention again." She walked dejectedly to her classroom, but she seemed to be in luck, Miss Haruna had not yet arrived to the class. Usagi sighed heavily, relieved that she wouldn't have to spend the afternoon in detention. As she slid into her seat Miss Haruna entered into the room followed by a new student.
"Class" Miss Haruna stated. " We have a new student here. She just transferred from St. Ignatious. Please make her feel welcome."
"Hello," the new girl said. " My name is Kusakabe Marron. I am pleased to make your aquaintance."
