Here are a few suggestions that might help you.
Just don't be so hard on yourself. By putting your little intro:
Hey everyone!! Here's everyone's favorite-person-to-ignore.
It shows that you don't have confidence in your own stories and that
leads people to believe that they shouldn't read it. Just let your
outgoing nature and love for writing take over and I'm sure people
will start reading.
Also, C&C people. It'll make them see that you're willing to read
and that'll make a good rep for yourself. I C&C more than I write
and it seems to me that I have a good group of friends here now.
Before I was just a lurker newbie like most people. I commend you
on jumping right out with a good (and funny) story on your first try.
Another suggestion: Don't flame yourself at the bottom of your posts.
There'll be other people to do that, so you shouldn't do it yourself.
j/king! It's good to see that you have a sense of humor, but sometimes
it can work against you if it isn't let out in the appropriate spot.
End suggestions.
I just hope to see more of your God Parody out and I'll keep reading
if you keep writing. ^-^ I love your parodies, but this one wasn't
exactly a parody...just a flame to yourself. Take heed of what you
write and everything will turn out fine. Have fun on the list and my
