'allo.. I supposed sent out a fic the other day but I never recieved it in my
box as going out to this list. It's entitled Ice Blue Swords... I'm going to
resend the prologue to this Kenshin/Recca X-Over and hope that I can get some
C&C back..

Prologue:
Forward, Into the Past
A Rurouni Kenshin/Flame of Recca fanfic by G. David Rife II

Kyoto, Present Day:
The woods were quiet. The stillness inside would be
disturbed shortly by violence. But for the moment it was
peace. The birds made their nests vigilantly, so that their
family would be protected from the elements. The leaves
played gleefully in the wind as a fox slept nearby. It was
all peaceful.
Then the man who would cause the world more trouble
than all the demons of hell could desire entered these
woods. Itazuki Katsu was his name. He stood about six feet
tall with long dark hair, his long, dark coat concealed all
too well the Katana blade beneath it. His eyes were green,
as if created from this very forest and his stature was that
of a kenpo-master. His looks were succeeded only by his
strength and skill. One wouldn't know that he was over 400
years old.
When Itazuki entered these woods he stopped by a tree
and turned around, quickly. "I'm here you freaks!"
Six warriors entered, as if one cue.
One of them, a long haired girl without a battle aura
shouted. "Recca-kun, It's a trap!"
"Nani!?" The one named Recca stopped too late, he
didn't expect the ground beneath him to disappear, as it
did. He fell about twenty feet before landing on a pile of
skulls.
The youngest one wielded what appeared to be a halberd
of sorts. "You should be more careful, bro. You don't see
me falling for traps like th--- woooaaahhh!" Though he said
he wouldn't, he did. The other four rushed to the pits to
try to help their friends but fell in themselves.
"Hah! That was pretty funny! I expected team Hokage to
put up more of a fight than that!" Itazuki looked down upon
them. "What to do now."
Recca looked up weakly. "I don't care what you do to
us... we need to know your secret of immortality!"
"Oh! that's simple enough." Itazuki reached into his
coat and pulled out a small ball. "This is the Toki Ball..
or time ball! It works much like your mother's time
manipulation technique, only it's controlled by a weapon,
and not skill... I'll show you!" With that he held the ball
above his head. A thick cloud came out around it and shot
forward into the pits engulfing all of the fighters in them.
"I'll send you back in time! You want to know how to
cure your mother of her immortality, there's the place to do
it! If manage to defeat my underground crime syndicate than
I will tell you how to save your mother form eternal
wandering." He closed his eyes and put the ball back in his
coat. The Hokage were gone. "Perhaps this time you'll win."

Misao- NANI!? I don't see any Kenshin Charecters here...
Dave- It's OK. In order to make thi sone work out I had to send the cast of
FoR back to Meiji era- Kyoto from the present...
Misao- I see... so we'll see some Kenshin charecters in the next episode,
right?
Dave- Yeah.. but I don't think you'll like it...
Misao- Hmm?
Dave- well... it's only two...
Misao-WHICH ONES?
Dave- It's called good cop, bad cop.
Misao- that means... HEY I DIDN'T THINK EITHER OF THEM WERE "Good"
