I think that is the assumption.
Of course, they have a COMPLETE lack of anything to go on as to where he
might be. Why they decided on China sort of bothers me. Of course, any time
something really wacky happens, it has something to do with China... so
there is a bit of a precedent. (Although that may be a fanfic cliche).
I guess they have to start somewhere.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Kodachi somewhat disappear much later
in the series?
