Hi everyone, here is my short short very short prologue little teaser of my
second on-going fic, Neon High School Evangelion. I'd appreciate any C&C
you would have. Remember this is a rough draft as well.
Notes: This is based loosely off of the alternate universe thought of by
Shinji during the final episodes of Evangelion. So basically what I've
done is taken that idea, and mixed the characters together in with
Marmalade Boy-estique elements.

Prologue: A New Beginning
=========================================================================
The young boy placed his last piece of clothing in his suitcase.
He pushed the lid closed and pulled the zipper around, closing the
suitcase. He looked around the room, how empty it was, he couldn't
imagine not being able to come home every night, back to this room. He
would miss it; he had lived his whole fourteen-year-old life in this room.
"Shinji, come on! Let's get going!" yelled his father.
"Gendo! Let him have his little moment of piece!" protested Yui,
"Can't you let him reminisce what he will be away from? Give him time."
She patted her husband on the shoulders, "I guess there always will be
that emotional side to the Ikari family," she said as she gave a little
laugh.
Shinji couldn't get over the fact that they were moving. Why the
hell does Dad's company need to transfer him to Tokyo anyways, he
thought to himself?
He turned around facing his parents both who were staring at
him. They both gave a little smile, and Shinji smiled back. He stepped
out of his room, "Mom, Dad, I think I'm ready."
He led the way out of the house, thinking of things on the bright
side. He would be able to start a new life, make new friends! He could
always make new friends, and plus this was Tokyo. It would be so cool
he thought to live there.
But what Shinji didn't realize was that he was heading into the
biggest conflict he would ever have to face in his entire life.

Next Time: Evangelion High, what a place. Shinji befriends Kaoru,
a very popular student in the school. And he sees a whole New World
of things and how these people are so different from those he left
back home. Plus what happens when you realize that someone is flirting
with you, and it just happens to be Kaoru's girlfriend? ^_^
