Why Ranma should model for ME!

The above essay-fic was good, but had two
fundamental canonical errors: one, Nabiki was never
shown to be paying for her family, rather probably
keeping it all to herself; and two, she never offered
this kind of arguments to him. Two neglectable flaws,
but they reduce the persuasion factor a bit.
Then came the star -- Ranko Saotome, dressed
lavishly in a
glittering, flowing red gown. She smiled and waved
as the cameras
flashed, and posed with the tennis star. No doubt
tomorrow's tabloids
would be rife with new rumours of the romantic link
between the two.
For Ranko's comments, no doubt they would be
written by Nabiki and not by herself...
"Ryoga," she said, "do you have *any* idea
how much that vehicle
was worth?"
Isn't this line more appropriate for Nabiki?
"Quit your wining!" Ryoga growled. "You
cannot put a cost on
revenge!"
And they don't accept checks, credit cards, or
even cash. ^_^
"This, again?" Ranko placed her hand to her
forehead, and
dozens of flashing lights caught the pose. "Ryoga,
this dress cost me
nearly ten thousand dollars! I am *not* going to
fight you just before
the awards ceremony!"
Dollars? Well, I suppose since she's an
international model, she would be shopping all over
the world...
Ranko glanced to the two supremely muscled
men that stood to
either side of her.
"Well?" she said. "What are you two waiting
for? My fans are
waiting on me, so get rid of him already!"
I expected them to pull out firearms, which
probably wouldn't kill Ryoga, but convince him to
escape...
"I don't know where you found those two,"
she said. She glanced
back over her shoulder, to see that Trunks and Goten
easily had the
situation under control. "But whatever you're
paying them, you should
double it!"
But SAIYAJINS!!? That's CRAZY! I was expecting
Ranma/ko's performance to be constantly hindered by
his/her enemies and fiancees, not to have the
super-powered hybrids keep it moving smoothly.
I would want a line for Nabiki, too. It's
uncharacteristic for her to be so silent.
