Personally, I just think it was a cute joke. Lighten up a little ^.^ It wasn't meant to be taken seriously.

And the Admin reiterated his call to temp-ban people. The ban as I recall was modified so that only those people who were going to send one liners of "Happy New Year" and such were to be banned, not spamfics.
