1. What (if any) is the age of consent for sex in Japan? How would people
view a (consenting) sexual relationship between a university student and a
girl in her first year of junior high school if it were known about? (BTW,
no, I am not going to actually SHOW this)
2. What is the general attitude toward child abuse in Japan? Is it much
of a problem? Do people prefer to pretend it doesn't happen? Is there a
view that parents have the right to punish disobedient children in this
way? Do any schools still use corporal punishment?
