coming up this week, so my chapters may be coming at later then usual,
but never fear, I never abandon a project!
So here come's more weirdness, maybe a little to weird due to my flu, so
overlook any problems, because I will blame it on the flu.
So on with the story! Please send C&C and enjoy! *_*

                                Chapter 30: Strategic planning.

Matthew looked down at the new report and sighed. According to the
news, a major chunk of the church's army had been destroyed by only a
small attack force sent by heaven. Only one thing could have tipped the
balance like that. Project Revelations' must have been completed, which
meant Matthew's whole plan was in danger.
He would, alone, go and see this weapon, and try to find a weak
point..........
I walked through the streets of a desolate city, a place where life
had been wiped out by Bane. No one live here for the dark presence
repelled travelers and caused the weak minded to go mad. All the Angels
left this aura around a place they had once been. It was to prevent
others from using it again, out of spite for their enemies.
This place, from what I could tell, was where Lilith and Maeyli
were. With my new awakening came a new realization of my powers, because
I would need them. I would need them for the great battles to come, the
great battles which would decide the fate of everything.........
Guni had watched the scene over and over again. Frame by frame he
had watched the effects of God's new weapon. It was the one thing he
knew nothing about. The only thing that threatened his plans. This
weapon was such a secret, so well concealed, he couldn't even get any
real information on it.
And now, he had seen it in action, and he was afraid. The weapon was
so strong, it could wipe out armies with no trouble. A beam of light,
pure white light which ripped apart anything it touched.
This white light came down upon people from above, from the heavens
itself. It smote whoever it touched, like some sort of divine justice.
Thirds the charm, if I remember the saying properly. The first two
weapons he designed failed, but this one seemed to work perfectly.
Hopefully, his puppet, the Messiah, would get rid of it. Why do your
own dirty work when others can do it for you?..........
I turned a corner to see Maeyli and Lilith sitting down on the
ground, their backs leaning against a broken car. They seemed to be
asleep, with their eyes closed, and not moving at all. Maybe dead was a
better word then asleep.
    "Wake up."
Maeyli just tossed and turned a little, not waking. But Sarah awoke
with a slight groan. Her eyes fluttered slightly and she opened them
just a little to get a good look at who tried to wake her. And when she
saw that person, me, she jumped right up and headed right towards me,
with her arms outstretched.
Before she reached me though, I sidestepped out of the way, causing
her to run pass me, and a scowl to form on her face.
"What did you do that for."
I gave Sarah an empty, cold look, like an eternal abyss of
nothingness. And she cringed. "I still haven't forgiven you, and Maeyli.
But I need your and Maeyli's help. I'm going to end this all."
I truly did mean that I wanted to end it now. I was not going to run
away anymore! I owed it to Lilith, to all of those who died because I
decided not to care. This revelation had been handed down to me by
myself, the easiest person to ignore. I had ignored myself for so long,
that I found it easy to ignore others, even when they were right. Like
Lilith. Even though her means towards the goal weren't always right. She
did something wrong, but she was truly sorry. She wanted to help
everyone, even if it meant hurting one. Was the life of one worth the
life of many?
But these were all questions for a different time. Right now we had
to focus on other things.
Sarah abruptly sighed, and folded her arms below her chest. "Fine,
wherever you go, I will follow. So where do we go first?" There was a
small tint of sadness in her voice as she said that.
"To the church. But be a good girl and wake up Maeyli. I'm not in
the mood to make her think that I've forgiven her."
    "O, kay."............
A man walked into the main throne room of Hell. This man was tall,
and rather muscular. With black hair and dark brown eyes he gave of a
slightly deceitful look. His face had a slightly thick beard on it, as
though he hadn't shaved in a week or two. This man wore a torn-up, black
t- shirt and a black pair of torn-up jeans, as though he had just been
in a fight.
Guni was sitting in the ruby throne, admiring the ruby walls as the
man walked in. But once he heard the man clear his throat, Guni's
attention focused to the man who had just entered. "Ah, Steven Fender,
how nice it is to meet you. Lucifer spoke quite highly of you."
Steven bowed and a smile spread across his face. "And he spoke quite
highly of you. But you did kill him did you not? That's how it works in
hell, is it not? Whenever someone wants to be the leader, he must kill
the previous one. A very dangerous job, one I would not want to try at.
It would take a very brave, or very stupid man to want to rule hell.
Which are you?"
Guni was surprised at this man, despite his words, there was not a
trace of contempt in them. He was a completely blank slate, it was
impossible to read this mans emotions. This man was supposed to be a
mortal, yet he seemed to be much more then that. Whatever he had,
whatever talisman or skill which helped him do this, Guni would find
out.
"Why don't you test me to see which?"
"I wouldn't dream of it. I don't like putting my life on the line,
with nothing much in return. You can keep your throne, and your legions,
for I don't want them."
"Good enough. Now how is the A.C.M doing?"
"Not bad. There haven't been many fights lately, due to the recent
church-heaven war. It's been mostly organization, and training."
"I see." Guni then paused for a second, as though to think. But
quickly started talking again. "Have you ever heard of project
Revelations?'"
"No, I haven't, what is it?"
"It's the project name for a new weapon designed by the forces of
Heaven. This weapon is more powerful then the Messiah, more powerful
then even Pandora's box. And it's done, and being used against the
church. I've seen pictures of this weapon in action, and it is a very
big threat. I want you, to assemble a strike force, to take out this
weapon."
"I see. And what will you be doing?"
"I'll be sending my own attack force at the same time. Basically,
the plan is, that when the forces of Heaven attack the church's main
stronghold in the Antarctic, they will be sealed off on one side due to
enemy troops. You will attack soon after the battle has begun, attack
from behind, blocking on two sides. And then my troops will move in on
the other two sides, boxing the enemy forces in. What do you say?"
Steven stood there for a moment, and thought. He didn't really want
to waste troops, but in the interests of diplomacy, he may have to. The
A.C.M needed strong allies, otherwise it would be swept away and crushed
in these dark times. "Fine. In the interests of diplomacy, I will do it.
But I expect you to hold up your part of the bargain, alright."
    "Oh course."
"Well then is that all you wanted to talk about?"
    "Yes, you may go."
And so Steven left, leaving Guni sitting in his throne, laughing
manically..........
