Tenchi muyo in love: Venom. Tenchi Muyo in love.

Venom.
Tenchi Muyo in love: Venom.

I don't own Tenchi or any of the related Characters. Please don't sue me
I have no money.
This story takes place a few months after the conclusion of the first
movie.
Also this is my first Tenchi fic. I haven't seen all of the TV series but
I do have the first six Oav. I also have all the Manga [in English],
although this is an elseworlds like tale. Still this shouldn't effect
Tenchi continuity anyway. It is a dark story, and should really pick up
after I get it going. Kudos to those who realize what is happening here.
Shame on those who don't. I love C&C: [although I'm not to worried about
continuity here, hey its a fic ok.] Send C&C to: Carrotglace@juno.com

	Gino watched angrily as Kei smiled at the boy again. He hated the boy;
he always seemed to be better at things than him. He did not mind a few
things, but Tenchi Musaki was better than him at everything. The worst
thing about it was he didn't even seem to notice. He sat with his friends
and smiled oblivious to the fact that every girl who knew him wanted to
be with him. Why not? He was such a nice guy; not full of himself like
most guys, he's always so polite. Even Kei, his Kei, Tenchi could take
her away from him without a second thought, and he knew it. Gino growled
under his breath. He watched the seemingly clumsy and good-hearted boy
muddle through the day. "Sweet indeed, he knows exactly what he's doing,"
he muttered under his breath. Kei looked at him oddly from her seat. She
didn't seem to know what he was talking about, but then she was a good
actor.

Tenchi walked into his house and was greeted by Ryoko in the usual
manner; she flew into him and hung all over him. "Tenchi say it isn't
so!"
"What?" said Tenchi looking worried. God knew what could have happened
since he had gone to school. He looked around and took a quick count
everyone seemed to be accounted for.
"You aren't really going to Tokyo for a whole two days are you?" cried
Ryoko.
Ayeka appeared behind them and grabbed Ryoko trying to pull her off.
"Get off lord Tenchi you monster!" she cried angrily.
Tenchi looked on helplessly as the argument continued. "It will be nice
to get away from this for a few days."

Next Day:

Gino sat in his seat and looked at him as he sat surrounded by women in
the back. He was trying to look embarrassed by all the attention; the boy
kept glancing nervously at a group of girls in the back. "They must be
from another school," Gino commented dryly as he didn't recognize them
and they were wearing uniforms.
Kei grabbed his shoulder gently and turned him to face her breaking his
chain of thought. "What is it?" she asked smiling at him.
"Uh, I just don't recognize those girls back there," said Gino smiling
weakly at her. Kei looked and frowned, one of them was very well built.
She rested her head on his shoulder and tried to sleep.
Gino frowned. "I hate you Tenchi Musaki," he said looking back a final
time. Kei was smiling as she closed her eyes, "Dreaming about him," his
mind told him.

Tenchi glanced back and looked at Sasami, Ryoko and Ayeka and they waved
back at him cheerfully. "How did they get here?" he wondered slightly
panicked. "I should have known this would happen," he thought sinking
into his seat. "At least they assigned our seats."

Ryoko sat in the back. "I can't believe they won't let us sit next to
Tenchi," she grumbled. Her eyes wandered over to where Ayeka was sitting
with Sasami. "Who invited her anyway?" she muttered as the train began
moving.

Ayeka glared at Ryoko and settled in her own seat. "I should have
known," she grumbled. She had been planing to use the trip to get Tenchi
alone for a while, just the two of them; but then Ryoko had shown up and
they hadn't allowed her to sit next to Tenchi, also Sasami was there.
Ayeka stopped. "Sasami...what are you doing here?"
Sasami looked up from her bag and smiled at her sister. "Me an' Ryo oki
are here to make sure you and Ryoko don't mess up Tenchi's trip with all
your fighting," said the child cheerfully.
"What?!" asked Ayeka looking at her sister in shock.
"Well Miss Washu said..." started Sasami when Ayeka interrupted.
"It makes sense now, with Sasami here neither one of us will be alone
with Tenchi for very long," she said with a defeated look, mostly to
herself.

Tenchi looked out of the hotel window and sighed. "Tokyo tower," he said
aloud looking at the structure in the distance. "The last place I ever
saw my mother," he thought privately as his two room mates unpacked their
own things and settled into the room. He fingered the sword in his pocket
and sighed. He was having mixed feelings about visiting the tower
tomorrow. He wanted to go, but felt very uneasy about it. He didn't feel
safe, it was like looking at it brought Kain back to life in his mind. He
hated the sight of it. Still, he felt it was necessary to go; it also
held memories of his mother now, memories he didn't want to forget.

The next day...

Kei looked over the city of Tokyo and smiled. "Gino-kun isn't it..." she
turned and looked for her boyfriend and her smile faded. "Gino-kun? Where
are you?"
Tenchi stood with Ryoko and Ayeka looking over Tokyo from the windows of
the observation deck. A smile crept on his face as he looked at the long
since repaired windows. Ryoko and Ayeka stood and watched him silently
nearby; they felt ashamed that they had forgotten Tenchi's real reasons
for coming on the trip. A strange girl walked up to him. The pair looked
at her in surprise.
"Tenchi san? Have you seen my Gino around here?" she asked seemingly
oblivious to the look on his face.
"Hmm? Oh, no I'm sorry I haven't seen him," he replied smiling half
heartedly at her as she woke him from his thoughts.
"Is something wrong?" asked Kei noting the strange look on Tenchi's
face.
Tenchi looked at her and smiled. "This place has personal memories for
me," he said and turned to look out the windows of the tower.

"Gino turned from his place among the crowd and frowned deeply as he saw
him. To make matters worse Kei was with him. His world sank as he watched
her turn slowly away from him with a strange look on her face. "So he has
her too now, No surprise," he told himself. The class filed towards the
elevators and he stood watching them for a moment before moving to a
secluded corner of the observation deck, he was in no mood for a tour.

In the rafters above the class something sat motionless in the shadows.
For many years it sat in the shadows moving only to escape the eyes of
men. It had no memory of what it was save a few flashes, flashes of hate.
It knew faces and a few names, no doubt names long gone from this world;
these humans were so weak. It sat and waited, patient as always,
something moved below it. Heard a single word that drove its hate, the
word was spoken like a curse, "Tenchi."

Gino sat in his corner of the tower alone. The tower was in the middle
of a mid-day lull and soon another group of students would come. He
didn't care, let them come. He felt hatred for the one who had stolen his
only safe haven, the girl he loved, but he had seen it coming. Somehow
that didn't make it any easier. "Tenchi," he spat with venom in his
voice.
It came on him from above, he cried out in surprise and fear as it
wrapped around him. "You are mine weak human!" said the voice that
invaded his mind. A flash of images played through his head. Women he
didn't know, some of them had glowing weapons. The word Jurai, and
finally... him. With an enormous hate filled will he pushed the thing
from his mind.
"No my body is mine!" he cried. The thing shuddered and seemed to start
melting away from him. He felt the desperation and hate from the thing
that clung to him.
It was strong once, now even a weak human could push it away. It knew it
was but a small part of a larger being, and that the rest of it had been
destroyed by the house of Jurai. Now it would never have its vengeance.
It felt something from the boy, hate; hate for the same one as he.
Perhaps all was not lost yet, with all its strength it began to cling to
the boy again.

Tenchi sat in his room and stared at the ceiling, his mind filled with
questions and deep thoughts about his mother and his family. The other
boys in his room had been asleep for hours. The trip had been delayed
because one of the students had vanished at the tower and had still not
been found. Tenchi remembered seeing his girlfriend crying, the poor
thing had been hysterical. He looked at the window and sighed. He could
still see the tower in the distance, and once again it held his destiny.
He felt uneasy staring at it and slowly began to doze.
Gino stumbled around the streets of Tokyo alone, well as alone as he
could be at the moment. His head was filled with images and small bits of
information, the shattered and incomplete memories of the thing. It
relayed its mind over and over. There wasn't much there, it didn't know
what it had been or even much about itself, only that it hated those
beings it could remember in its mind. Tenchi was one of those people, the
others he did not know, only that the woman was long since dead. One
thing caught Gino's mind playing over and over, Jurai. Musaki wasn't even
human. This played through his own mind over and over. He wasn't even a
man, he hated him more than ever.
Gino looked at himself in a puddle on the ground and smiled. "OK. You
win," he said to the thing on him. It wrapped around him and let out a
cry that could only be described as a victory yell. Gino looked at the
new him, no -them-. He smiled revealing rows of sharp teeth. His body was
several times larger and more muscular that it had ever been. He stared
at the black thing in the puddle looking back at him with its huge wild
eyes. "So there we are," he said and began to walk again, feeling felt
the thing slide back to cover him as clothes again. "Musaki I'm coming
for you," he said with a smile.

Tenchi woke with a start, and looked at the clock with a frown. He had
only been asleep for an hour. He felt a cold chill as the voice rang out
in his head once again. "Musaki I'm coming for you," it said in a not
quite human voice. It was a voice that was horribly familiar, yet strange
to him.
Gino walked into the hotel where his class was staying. With a thought
his clothes shifted to the uniform of one of the employees, a bellboy. He
walked up the stairs towards the rooms where his classmates were staying.
His smile broadened with each step he took until it was no longer a human
grin. He stopped when someone addressed him and turned slightly.
Yami had a hard night and was getting tired of all the lazy little brats
that the executives had hired as help. He saw yet another useless boy
wandering the halls with empty arms. "Hey what do you think your doing
without a..." his voice trailed as he saw the boys face. He stepped back
and gasped. The boy had an inhuman grin on his face that revealed rows of
pointed teeth, an impossibly long tongue darted in and out of the mouth
as it seemed to think for a moment.
"No delays," said Gino and he raised his arm. It turned black and shot
out seven feet longer growing claws and tendrils as it went, his hand
grew three times larger as he slammed the poor mans head through the wall
and into a vacant room; unfortunately his body stayed outside the room.
Gino turned and continued walking away from the twitching and spraying
body. "Sorry we can't afford delays old man. We have to kill Musaki,"
said Gino as he calmly entered an elevator.

Tenchi felt cold as the night drew on. He looked at the clock again and
frowned. He had been feeling more and more uneasy since the trip to Tokyo
tower. He heard something in the hall. He got out of bed and pulled out
the sword and frowned as the door cracked open. He silently checked on
his sleeping roommates and ignited the blade, quickly he moved and waited
by the door trying to use his body to shield the light generated by his
sword. Something stepped in the room silently.
"Tenchi," it said quietly. The boy braced himself and stepped in behind
the intruder. "Don't move," he said quietly. It froze for a moment and
chuckled nervously.
"Tenchi it's me!" said a familiar voice.
"Ryoko?" said Tenchi with a slightly unnerved voice as the sword died
down.

Ryoko and Tenchi stood in the hall together and Tenchi was not happy.
"Ryoko, what do you think your doing?" he said looking embarrassed and
angry at the same time. "I'm not the only one in that room you know," he
said trying to keep his voice down.
"Yea too bad," commented Ryoko lightly.
"That's not what I meant!" retorted Tenchi blushing.
"That's not why I'm here," said Ryoko calmly. Tenchi stared at her.
"Tenchi I've felt weird ever since we left Tokyo tower. I can't explain
it something just feels not right," she said looking at him seriously.
Tenchi looked surprised for a moment and nodded his agreement. "You're
right something doesn't seem right. With Gino-san's disappearance and
all."
"Tenchi...we're the only ones -here-" said Ryoko with a devilish smile
as she floated into his arms and hung off his neck.

Gino walked into the hallway and smiled as he heard voices. He smelled
the blood of a Juraian. He crept into the room that the odor emanated
from, and frowned as the inhabitants looked at him from their suitcases.
This was not Tenchi's room, the Juraian blood in these was small, menial
at best. A small child looked at him with smile. He looked into the
little girls eyes, her purple eyes, they eyes of a Juraian, Gino frowned.
"Who are you?" asked the man, obviously the father. Gino looked at him
blankly. He hadn't thought about that, he couldn't give his real name he
supposed.
"Can we help you?" asked the woman with a worried urgency in her tone,
the mother. She watched the strange boy standing in her open doorway he
was looking at her child at his feet. Her eyes were the same purple as
the child, the boy's frown deepened.
"We are Venom, and no I don't believe you can." Said the Gino thing, his
grin became apparent revealing his pointed teeth. A black tendril rose
from his back and closed the door trapping the family with him, the woman
gasped.
Outside the room the screams were short lived and unheard. Venom stepped
outside the room and allowed himself to turn back to his human form. He
frowned and shook the child's eye off his finger. "Too bad the human had
to die, but we couldn't have him identify us. We'll clean all these nasty
Juraians off our planet," he calmly started to walk down the hall in
search of his prey again.

Ten minutes pass...

Tenchi walked back into his room and headed for the bed. He only had an
hour or two before the others would wake. He rested his head on the
pillow and stared at the ceiling. He sighed. "Ryoko sure can be a pain
sometimes,"
	"Tenchi," said a voice.
"Not now Ryoko I'm...." that was not Ryoko.
"Tenchi I'm coming," said the voice now clear. Tenchi opened his eyes
and cold fear ran down his spine, he sat staring at the shadows on the
ceiling.
"It's just my imagination, old memories brought back by the trip," he
told himself. He then realized, he was alone. His classmates were gone.
He continued to stare at the ceiling. It was one big shadow, until, the
shadow opened two white eyes and stared at him. A mouth with rows of
sharp teeth smiled evilly at him from the ceiling.
"I'm sorry about our classmates, but we couldn't have them interfering,"
said the voice, It seemed so familiar. It was like Kain's voice, but also
traces of something else, something terrifyingly familiar. Tenchi felt
something hit the foot of the bed, and then next to his head. Several
more objects landed around him. He couldn't move to look at what they
were. A large heavy object landed on his chest, reluctantly he pulled his
eyes down to see the head of his classmate. The thing was dropping the
remains of the three other boys that were in the room on him. Tenchi
began to scream.
"Now Tenchi just you and me," said the thing as it oozed off the ceiling
in a human like mass. Tenchi groped around the bed desperately. His hand
found Tenchi-ken and it lit immediately, rushing at the thing he cried
out in rage and fear. It slid to the side and swiped at Tenchi leaving
four large shallow gashes in his back. Tenchi fell to his knees in pain,
but quickly rose and slashed at its back before it could recover. It
seemed to glide just out of range of his sword. It pointed its arm at
Tenchi and extended it, slamming into the boy's chest pushing him into a
wall. Tenchi cried out in pain as he hit, the pressure of the blow
crushed his chest and knocked the wind out of him. The thing smiled and
began to apply more pressure, it's hand had become large enough to pin
its prey's whole body to the wall easily.
Tenchi tried to regain his breath, but the monster's grip made it
nearly impossible, slowly, he began to brown out from the pain. Soon he
would be unconscious and it would all end; he found himself hoping it
would end quickly as his ribs begin to buckle.
The thing reveled in its victory letting out an inhuman cry. Suddenly,
its arm was gone in a flash of light! It spun around with an enraged roar
as Tenchi slumped to the ground, only to find a very angry Ryoko glaring
at it from the opposite side of the room. The creature looked at the
stump and smiled; the arm seemed to replace itself. The severed hand on
the ground seemed to melt and crawl off of Tenchi's body returned to its
master by sliding along the floor in a puddle.
Ryoko growled and stepped back, the thing grinned at her and slashed.
"You keep your claws off my Tenchi Monster!" she yelled at it as she
teleported behind it. She raised her sword over her head and prepared to
strike. A large spike instantly appeared from the creature's back that
impaled her wrist. She grabbed her arm with her free hand and cried out
in pain as smaller spikes sprouted from the larger one tearing her hand
to shreds, but still kept her trapped. The spike shifted tossing her
through the air, slamming her into the wall opposite the boy; the impact
left a large crater in the wall. Ryoko was back on her feet almost
immediately.
"Damn you monster!" she screamed as she charged forward to face her
opponent again.
It was gone, the window looked like it had been ripped apart leaving only
a ragged hole in the wall. She growled again angrily holding her injured
hand gingerly. She had been down no more than one second, finally she
turned to Tenchi as he lay unconscious against the wall. "What was that
thing?" she asked looking him over worriedly.

Gino stood outside the hotel entrance, watching the hole he had made
only moments before. He walked in and moved towards the hallway where his
class was staying again. He looked at his hand, instantly a large black
claw appeared, Gino grit his teeth and prepared himself.

	One hour later...

Zennata frowned as he looked at yet another set of bodies, this time
they had been ripped to shreds. A lone boy had managed to fend off the
creature, but he could only describe it as a living shadow. The fact that
he had even been able to survive was nothing short of a miracle. He had
been unconscious when they found him, his wounds were minor and clean,
and he was lucky.
Zennata walked down the hall, the work looked like that of a serious
Psychopath. A few moments later new cries could be heard. "We found
another one!" cried some of the officers down the hall. Zennata sighed
and prepared to walk into another blood bath, turning around the corner
and was surprised to see that they were pulling a badly scratched up boy
from one of the maintenance closets. "Hey this is the kid that went
missing yesterday," said one of the younger officers on hand. Zennata
smiled as the boy looked around confused, "Its OK son you're safe now,"
he reassured the boy.
"Yes I know, He can't hurt me anymore," said Gino with a small smile
forming on his lips.
"That's right son, just relax," said Zennata unaware of the true meaning
of the boys words.
TbC...

Well wasn't that fun? This could turn out to be an interesting fic. Don't
worry the other Juraians will be explained after all Yosho's been on
earth for a while. Tenchi could have any number of cousins and distant
relatives from his mother's side. I don't think it was ever really
covered in the series, As for 'Venom' acting a little OOC? Remember this
isn't Marvel's Brock, this guy is a completely different guy. He has his
own sense of honor, and he isn't stupid.
	Well hope you enjoyed it!
