Well, aside from a few grammatical errors, this wasn't that bad of
an idea. I have no intention of taking this one up, mainly because I haven't
seen much Tenchi, but I do have the following advice for anyone who does.
For starters, don't adhere to the Brimstone scripts. They weren't
all that hot in the first place. Also, the show wasn't exactly biblically
accurate, so don't use it as a guide, either.
Secondly, while you could go for the feel of Brimstone, try not to
get too dark with it. With Kiyone and Mihoshi, it should be focused more on
humor than on the heavy dark stuff.
Lastly, I attempted a Ranma/Brimstone fusion once, but canned it
after one chapter. However, what I had thought up grew and changed, becoming
Crimson Dawn. True, it didn't have much in the way of humor, but it ended up
being my best fic to date. If you can't work with a Brimstone fusion, then
jsut use that show as a springboard to any other ideas you can come up with.
Don't feel too limited to just sticking to your source material.
