Hi!

for breakfast, I think.

I have no clue, grammar ain't my strong suit. :)
...

I think this could've been funnier if Nabiki was still ignorant >about
Ranma's true age. I'd love to see a scene where Nabs discovers
it.

Probably, but Ranma really has no reason to keep this a secret from the
Tendos. He has a long history with the family.
...True. Still, it'd be a fun scene. How'bout a flashback with Nabiki
(Perhaps in school, would be nice to see Furinkaner's reactions to
Ranma.
Suggestion:
GIRL:"He's so *handsome*. And *mature*..."
NABIKI:<snickers>
start flashback.
Something like that. Of course, there's not much interaction
between Ranma and the school, but does he know the Kuno's beforehand?
And there's surely a huge rumormill going on in F.
Still, if it doesn't work it doesn't work<sigh>.)

Btw, are we going to see Ryoga in this story? A friend? Foe? Another
immortal?
Another descendant?

Ryoga's not an immortal or a descendant. He's- well, wait till chapter
7.
:)
...A schoolkid with a vendetta ^^

Still, I'm sure it's a good training...

Trying to hit Ranma would be safer than trying to jump on a roof right
now.
:)
...Ah.
Didn't think of safety :p

"Sounds good, Doc. I'll see you later."

...I wonder what good ole Doc thinks about all this.
Of course it would be interesting if this was the DarkTofu(tm).

Not sure what to do with Tofu yet. Prolly set him up with Kasumi or
something. Kinda a side plot at the moment.
A Request: Keep him nice but knowledgeable(Is that a word?)

After leaving the clinic and once again traveling over the >>rooftops,
Ranma decided to comment on Akane's somber >>disposition. "What's
bothering you, student?"

...You could use Teishi here ^^

"Nothing you'd understand, Sensei."

That's pretty rude. Was Sachiko Ranma's descendant?
Akane certainly inherited the Foot-in-Mouth gene in this
one ^^

Heh. Well, falling in love with someone who doesn't love you can be
embarrassing... at least, at the time. You may not want to volunteer
information.

True... Still, it's a rude way of putting it, especially when speaking to
your Elder.
(Capital E)

They reached Akane's bedroom and went inside. "Akane, like all >>Tendo
women, you're beautiful and passionate, and one day, you will >>find
someone to love, someone who will love you very much."

...Wonder who was the first Tendo Ranma fell in love with ^^

Chapter 6.

You're mean. :p

"I got married." Soun smiled wistfully. "The Art was everything
until
I met Sachiko. I didn't even know anything was missing from >>my life
until we got married and Kasumi was born."

RANMA:"Bah! You just never bothered to learn the Married-Life >Martial
Arts!"

Talk about a path filled with peril!

<LOL>

The Art -is- making me stronger, but it's not an end in itself." >>Soun
paused. "Not like it is for you."
...Ah.
Getting answers into the "Why-Ranma-Dodges-When-He's-Immortal" - >thingy
a
while back.

Yup!

Was this just to satisfy the whiners or did you actually plan all this? ^^

"It's the effort that counts."

A sweet thought... Does not apply often enough, IMO.
Sad.

More of this theme later on, I think.

Oro?

Kasumi's smile was relaxed and easy. "No, that was a long time >>ago.
<sing-song voice>:Ka-su-mii- is ly-ing! Ka-su-mii is ly-ing!
Sheesh!
<copy/paste>:
"He was so nice, and strong, and romantic, and just. . ."
Snicker.

She's a tad confused right now. :)

Whatever for? The boy she had a crush on returns after twelve years, and now
she
looks older than he does. :p

^^

...
Foreshadowing?
Akane+Bloodworms+Immortal Ranma=Happily ever after?

Hmmm... that would be a trite ending, i think, but it will be discussed on
some level.
Ah.
Still, I *like* happy endings. How about some Mermaid's flesh, then? ^^
<snicker>
Mermaid's flesh != happy ending, I think.

Soun shuddered. "You did not truly know him, Ranma. He was a
monster."

... Depending on the source, Happosai is either 100 years older OR
younger
than Ranma... Hmmm...

Younger.
Manga.
:p
Then again, he's in Kenshin's age group.. A tad younger perhaps.
^^
But let's not mix things up TOO much ^^

BTW, why does it seem there's a slight error in Ranma's age?
He was around 46 in the Kyoto story which was a little over 10
years before Kenshin TV series.. So Ranma's age should be around 160 >or
so, definitely less than 180 years, with a wide margin for >error.. Am I
making a mistake here, somewhere?

*sigh* No, I am. I have to research my history a bit more...

Ouch... Then again, if you make Ranma too much older during Meiji, he might
actually start to have a chance of beating Hitokiri.

She whirled towards him and Ranma's heart wrenched at the dead look >>in
her eyes. "I have lost the one I loved. What use is there for
grief?"
...This Tomoe seems different than the one in OAV:s...
Of course, If this is immediately after she got the news, it fits.

Yes, this is right after she hears news of Akira's death.

Ah.

"I know of your feelings for me, Ranma-san. You never voiced them,
but
I know. If you truly love me, then be my instrument of >>revenge."
Nasty.
Then again, Ranma's obviously Tomoe's friend, with whom she is more
open with. Still, I's kinda "Kick the love-sick puppy".

The End justifies the means... revenge can be like that, eh?

True. Still, It seems she treats Ranma almost as badly as Shamps treats
Mousse ^^

"That is no longer possible, Ranma-san." A touch of the old
gentleness
entered her voice.

...Luckily, for herself, she's wrong. Although, she doesn't have >much
time
for happiness ..

Thus Ranma's comment about sad irony.

Ah. Stupid me.

He's definitely not going to beat the Hitokiri Battosai at this >point.
Might put up a good fight, though. Of course that's just my >opinion. And
Kenshin might learn a thing or two about >underestimating unarmed
fighters
^^ I think we'll have a situation >where Kenshin's fighting spirit and
speed are superior,
while Ranma might have a slight skill advantage.
Kinda like Inji's and Genma's fight in Pastpresent:tourism part 3 ^^
Of course, in real fight, it's the fighting spirit which has the
greatest
effect on who'll win. Then again, Ranma ain't lacking in >this
department,
either. But He's not the killer Battosai is. Hmm.
I think I'm starting to contradict myself. I'll just stop now. ^^

Heh. We'll see what happens post-chapter 7.

ch8 is Kyoto?
Don't tell.

You're mean, talking about Ch6 and 7, when we haven't seen chapter 5 yet :(
:p

Sorry 'bout the rant, btw.

"Soun, old friend. . . that is one long, convoluted, sad, and >>horribly
ironic story. One I will share at another time," Ranma >>replied.

Damn!

Sorry. ^^

No, I don't think you are :p

Soun, I refuse to be among the walking dead. You see, that's what a
person without passion becomes."

Hear, hear!
Actually, that's pretty much my current situation. I'm trying to get
better, though.

I've been there...

Got the T-shirt?
<sigh> At least I still have my sense of humor,
or lack of it, thereafter.

"Enough of this. Where is my son-in-law?" A tiny withered old >>woman
carrying a wooden staff three times her size jumped in front >>of him.

Uh-oh. Miss "If I were a hundred years younger" is here... ^^

ROTFL!

IT'S NOT FUNNY!

^^

...Okay, so it is. :p

^^
