Arctic Circle: Dark Kingdom from Sailor Moon.
Hoo, boy!
Beryl would just LOVE the opportunities this universe presents to her. Of
course, if Serenity/Sailor Moon was able to defeat her a thousand years ago,
S.M.'s time, then I imagine that Beryl will behave... Out of fear, if
nothing else.
Beryl doesn't know that she was defeated or that there even is a Serenity in
this world. This Beryl remembers beating Serenity (the elder) and then, at
the last moment having the world vanish around her. However stealing the
ginzuishou would be a major priority when she finds out about Neo-Serenity.
New York City: Mad Bull
Patlabor
Batman Forever
Don't you mean Beyond?
Whatever.
No contest. Plus, that way, a cross trade can be set up between the Sabers
and Batman. I doubt that many of the Batman villians could stand up to a
hardsuit, and just _think_ of all the nifty things Sylia could do with his
stealth tech...
Of course first the Sabers would have to get to Gotham.
Rest of Germany, most of Poland: Adolf (1938 Germany)
Just what we need. HIM again!
He's fun.
Like Beryl, I think that he'd behave, mostly out of fear for the ravening
hordes screaming for his blood. Israel, at the very least, would kick his
ass at the first opportunity.
Since Israel is stuck in Moses time (or possibly has been replaced by El-Hazard),
they've never heard of him. Neither have most of his other neighbours from series
like Kiki's Delivery Service, Famous Detective Holmes, Vampire Hunter D, Three
Musketeers, Alexander the Great and Nighthood, unless someone decides to use Tintin.
(Was there a Hitler in Tintin?) Opportunity is knocking. The closest people
who are likely to have heard of of him, are the Turks, who are busy exterminating
the Kurds in Star of the Kurds, the fighter-bomber pilot mercenaries of Area 88
and the city-state of Moscow, from Battleship Yamato. _Maybe_ Porco Rosso knows
who he is, but he doesn't know what he will do.
Italy, Eastern Meditereanian filled in with land: Slayers
Oh well...
Zones can be moved to suit an author's convenience until a story has
actually
been written placing it somewhere. I placed Slayers in the vicinity of
Europe
because it is vaguely European, and because
No, It's good that it's there. But we can kiss a lot of the toublemakers
in
Europe goodbye if Lina's around.
Lina: "YOU _WHAT_?!" boom
Actually, the Dragons and the Mazoku would be causing more problems than she
would. She's one, and they're many, after all.
Ideas of mine:
Someplace in Africa: El Hazard
Right. Somewhere in the Middle East, but I don't really know that much
about it.
Mars: Armitage III, possibly others.
Unfortunately, Mars and all other extra-terrestrial places are rendered
unreachable by the energy barrier surrounding Earth (from Orguss). However
you can use the _people_ from such series. Just assume they were on Earth
at the time of the merge.
But please, don't just think about new zones. Think about a story you could
write in this environment. Otherwise it's just an intellectual exercise.
