Before you use the link below, bear with me for a second and read this.
These pages I am giving you notice about are something between 600K and
500K in size. The images range from 100K to 250K. On a 56k connection,
the images will load in under a minute. On a 33.6k connection they take
about a minute and a half. The sound tracks are another issue. They take
up to five-minutes to load, but usually begin playing in under a minute.

Please do not write to me about the load times if you are on a 28.8k or
14.4 k connection. I am here warning you in advance of how large these
pages are. The site has seen a lot of traffic, usually right after I
post a notice that I have uploaded a new picture. With everyone
hammering the server at the same time, load times increase dramatically.
If you tried to take a look at some of this stuff before and the load
times were high, there could be any number of reasons, but if you tried
immediately after reading one of my notes, you are likely running into
traffic. Try again at some later time.

YES! I do know how to make smaller images. I have worked on the
construction of commercial sites and do know how to make small image
files. I am not doing that in this case because I HATE the quality of
that work. Don't tell me no one can tell this difference because I
almost always can.

If you are not inclined to wait for more than thirty seconds for an
image to load and you are not on an ISDN connection, this site ain't for
you! Understand? I spend anywhere from 10 to forty hrs rendering these
pictures. If you don't want to wait for a minute and a half to let them
load, don't bother with the links below.

If you are an artist, especially a formally trained artist, and wish to
give me advice, tips or criticism, I am all eyes and eager to see what
you have to say. I am entirely self-trained. If you liked the pictures,
I am happy to hear from you. If you are not happy with one of them,
please try to be specific about the problem you have with it. I may or
may not agree with you, but do welcome the feedback and may even may try
to fix the problem

Be advised that color problems are often tricky. Check to make sure that
your brightness and contrast settings are not too terribly far from the
factory indents. Everyone builds images around these gamma settings
because they are standard (On my mac, I turn them down a little to
compensate for the differences with Wintel). Most folks, myself included
prefer a high brightness/contrast setting when using spreadsheets and
the like, especially on windows. This is always bad for color quality.
Try re-setting them before you surf web sometime. You'll be shocked at
what a beautiful place the WWW can be.

One other thing, Netscape users can collapse their menu bars by clicking
on the little, blue triangles in the upper, left-hand corner of their
browsers. You may want to do that for this picture.
